ME Movie cast

So I know there was a thread some time ago about what games you would like to see made into movies. I'd ike to take it further and find out from the ME die hard fans (like me)who they would think would make a good cast. Some of my ideas:
Shepard: Jenson Ackles
Mordin: David Hyde Pierce
IM: Martin Sheen
Wrex: Michael Dorn
Jack: Natalie Portman
Tali: Famke Janssen

Just a few of my ideas, to get the ball moving. And Id also like to know how people feel about ME movie not even being about Shepard? There is talk that it should be like the Resident Evil series and none of the characters in the game are actually in the movies. But I like Shepard, and think it wont be a good story without him/her lol
 
There's plenty of Mass Effect fans here. Just none that care for the movie. I have yet to see a videogame translate well into film. I doubt we ever will.
 
First, Shephard should only be female. Second, the only one I can think of at this particular moment would be Scarlet Johansson.
 
They should film different version of the the movie with every actor and actress currently in the industry so that you could choose Shepard's gender and appearance. My first pics: Andy Dick or Fran Drescher.
