I just called Best Buy and tried to get some information about the release date of the phone. The rep didn't say anything about a release date (of course), though he did say that they have a lot of accessories and everything so it seems that the word is still the same as far as no official release date, yet accessories have came in. If anybody gets a rep to tell them any details post it up in here.

Was only asking because i like everyone else on here is tired of the release date rumors. The fact this ad scan was leaked last week. but it would be nice to find out if the actual ad is still the same, sometimes correction ads can be printed up to avoid problems on the retailers end with customers.
the SKU isn't right as was communicated by BestBuy's internal system according to leaks around the same time, so i'm wondering if they fixed that with an updated ad.
I'm still holding out for next week. And now it seems AT&T is moving up the release date on the ATRIX 4G to the 22nd, maybe thats a good sign its true to compete against the Tbolt?

Oh, good to know. My husband's date is 4/7, so we were hoping for possibly the beginning of March. I know they used to be good about like 20 days early or something like that.
I spoke with a Verizon store saleperson and he told me that the HTC rep came in yesterday and told him that the TB will be released next week. He could not determine if the date was the 21st or 24th. This is the first time I ever heard a Verizon employee to give a release date for the TB. For the past 2 week or so all I've every heard was "soon or we don't know" from them.

Why the hell would you want to drive around with the governator anyway??Here's to hoping you're right. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but it would put an ugly mark on what should be a beautiful thing. Kind of like buying a sweet sports car and finding out it's got a govenor on it set to 65. It still might get you some action, but it just wouldn't feel right. I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, haha...but you get my point.

verizon told me today that the phone could be released by best buy before they get it
The Verizon salesperson took down my name and number for a pre-order/waiting list for the TB. They plan to call me when the phone arrives. Granted they are not taking a money deposit but they are taking name and numbers. I'm defintely calling back Saturday to see if the date is still either the 21st or 24th.
So that is this upcoming Sunday's ad correct?

The guy I spoke with today seemed to know his stuff than the usual salesperson when dealing with the TB. Plus his name is also on the waiting/pre-order list, a TB fan. I suggest if you're interested in the TB to call a Verizon dealer and have them add your name on the list. If they have one though. It wouldn't hurt at all.

So I have a question about this ad. It looks as if this is already printed and ready to go, do these ads ever get reprinted at the last minute? If not, then it looks like BB is very confident that this thing will be available on Sunday.
Do you guys already have them in stock? I've seen some BB employees post that their computers say the shipments have arrived, but no one has said that they have seen them in the stock room. I feel like we're relying on computers too much, let's see some pics of the actual goods!

Jay thanks for the info. Not trying to be a tool but this ad does have the date for this upcoming week on it and its not an old ad that would have run had this not gotten delayed, right? Again thanks for all the info you have given us so far!
