Just received an email from premier stating ignore the email stating the item is on backorder. It also stated that my pre order is scheduled to ship as early as Feb 22, 2011. Sweet.
 
So I just got off the phone with the business key contact center and the manager told me the launch day is the 22nd and the phone should start shipping in the next day or so and we should receive the phone on or before the 22nd. FedEx is running on Monday.

Me too!!! I'd say the 22nd date is very likely but I think like my local at&t rep said "he will be able to sell them on Sunday" so no way I am waiting 2 more days I'm cancelling pre-order and picking this bad boy up in person if I dont see a shipped status by sat.

edit: also, those that pre-ordered and had it shipped to AT&T can get it on the 21st! :)
 
Howdy y'all, I was checking on another forum and someone said the hold/pending fund thing on their bank account was now gone. So I checked mine too and it's disappeared. I *hope* that's a good sign - like it's about ready to go through for realz. :p

I also called the AT&T order status line and the guy said they got a memo about a Feb. 22nd release date, but couldn't give me much detailed info about my order.

Here's my dilemma - I'm leaving to go out of town on the 24th for two weeks and I NEED some shipping/delivery info! If it's not going to get to me before that and I can get it in a store before I leave I need to cancel my order. I'm not a premiere member BTW. Is there another phone # I should be calling? I think I might head over to my local AT&T store today to see what they say. I always have bad luck with things like this - ordering/shipping/delivery cutting it way too close to a departure day. If I know for a fact it'll come by the 23rd I'd be a happy camper.

Oh well, off to do some more frustrating research...
 
I'm almost positive FedEx or UPS will have all the phones delivered by Tuesday Feb. 22. So vitaminj7, you should have your Atrix before leaving on your trip.
 
Now it is official the launch date is 22nd and shipping date is 21st.
ATT has more detail in their facebook page regarding this..
 
So reading the FB comments and this one by AT&T made me lol:
Antoine, if you are getting a tethering plan, you won't be able to keep your unlimited data, but you'll be getting 4GB of data!

WOW...4GB is so much better than unlimited.
