[Confirmed] February 22nd Release Date

This reminds me of the Incredible release. It's coming end of the month! ... It's coming the first week of next month! ... It's coming soon! hehe

dunno if this is a repost, but androidcentral is reporting feb 22. as the latest rumor...

Atrix 4G release date pushed up to Feb 22 [rumor] | Android Central

I'm downright exhausted from all the rumors and speculation that's been going on for the past month. Doesn't anyone know how to launch a phone these days?? (well, apple does, but I don't care about that, lol)

That said, I still hope it's true, that would mean we might see some shipments going out friday or monday for pre-orders, which would be super swell.

It would be unusual for AT&T to release a device like this not on the traditional Sunday, but this leak might have some credibility.

Any thoughts? Excited yet?!

I'm burned out man, every other day there's a new "rumor" about when this phone is coming out. I sure do hope it does come out then (even though it flies in the face of AT&T's traditional launches) because then we would start seeing pre-order shipments friday or monday.

I agree man, this is getting dizzying (it is like the much-awaited "Cupcake" Android update for the G1 back in 2009)!

Could any of our knowledgeable AT&T employees verify this in MyCSP (or whatever it is called)? My friend the manager is out of town for a week or so...

True... at least we aren't Thunderbolt-buyers. They've had at least ten separate rumored release date leaks.

Did you end up preordering?

I broke down and did, today. I decided the higher resolution screen and guaranteed availability won out over the possibility of the galaxy s 2. HTC really didn't bring anything to the table this week at MWC which is unfortunate. The rep at the store kept my number and said he'd call me when a demo unit arrives and if I really don't like it I can cancel.

I've already asked my brother to confirm this when he goes in tomorrow morning. He will call me with what he finds.

Swung by a wireless kiosk tonight at the local Costco (San Diego) to see when they were going to be carrying the phone -- Feb 23rd.

No details on pricing or accessories. Hopefully it's still at the $150 price as previously leaked.

The Atrix and Thunderbolt release date saga has turned into the Carmello Anthony trade...every day something new!

However it would make sense to just push the Atrix out now, and try and kill it while vzw procrastinates when to launch the Thunderbolt.

In case, you get it and don't like it, prepare to pay a $35 restocking fee..
