It's a good setting for comparing pics because of the red building with the blue background of the sky.
Yes and now that we have these settings and pics we can all adjust and see whats needed if anything

The inspire pic looks a little over saturated on default settings compared to I4
It picked up the slight blue in the sky, while the other 2 didn't.
Ah ok so then its more accurate while the other two were washed out. I thought the blue was over saturation but now that you said that its obvious the others are washed out
As has this whole winter. Luckily it hasn't snowed for a few weeks, and it's warm out so it's melting.
70+" of snow in under 4 weeks was just too much to deal with.
Yea but I think it worked out better this way. We got the snow its gone and now its warming up

I noticed that for low light, you are much better off ditching auto-iso and going with 100 or 200. Anything greater that that introduces a lot of noise and issues with white balance. Indoor pics shot at 100 with a flash look much, much, much better than those shot with auto iso

Interesting stuff everybody. So, is there a set of agreed upon "best settings" for all situations? Or does it come down to just understanding all of the available settings and knowing what to set for the situation you are in?
From reading this, I'm picking up that Florescent WB is best on this camera?

It's a little too blue. Should have taken one with the saturation turned down one.
Interesting differences between those last two shots. The tree at left-rear, it looks slightly out of focus on the Inspire, yet the rest of it looks just as sharp as the iPhone. Perhaps they're focusing on different objects? As far as saturation goes, I agree it's more blue, but are we then assuming that the iPhone is perfect? I tried messing with saturation on my Inspire and ended up setting it back to stock, as only that seemed to match colors in real life, at least for me.
