lol thats awesome, i too would like to see these pics :P never seen it beside a Droid Incredible, the closest i've come is having my case pictured beside it for comparison also sized up against other phones in my size chart i made.

Edit: LOL the proof is a dummy unit, ;) Feb 14 was on all the dummy units, but still a great size comparison none the less

You made it sound like you had a real one, not a dummy phone. I date in the widget gives that away.

Yeah, but there was also the screenshot of the bestbuy system saying that "The HTC ThunderBolt (Verizon Wireless) and HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T) are now available"

so the ad correction even though it would be saying something on the lines of a delay doesn't mean we may not still see the phone arrive on the 24th like other insiders like miami1683 and others have said and confirmed this evening, the correction could even go as far to say that "Skype won't be available at launch" (since its in the ad) or it could say that the phone won't available until an unknown date, Monday is almost here guys, i would wait it out to see if Verizon has a Presidents Day announcement ;)

try to be optimistic

All that picture proves (to me at least) is that he works at a Verizon store and has gotten at least the dummies in. That being said, however, he does seem to be the most confident VZW employee we have heard from and gave us a solid date that we have heard before and is the most realistic at this point.

That message was just saying that it is available in the system for employees to get info from. Its just specs and guides to help the employees demo and sell the phone.
 
The official word of the store is that the official date is the 28th. Yes it is a dummy unit but the information that I got is that Feb 28 is the official release date and that like the president of HTC said phones have been shipped. Don't be surprised to see actual demos and unboxings of the phone soon as Wednesday!!! :-) all my information come directly from a Corporate Verizon Wireless store Manager.

yeah I kinda figured that, but if its in there now, something has to be coming extremely soon, and like miami1683 said earlier tonight, he confirmed that its a go for the 24th, (could be something else but said it would also possibly slip into the 28th) doesn't know about BestBuy though, even if it is the 28th for the launch date, maybe they'll atleast let us pre-order sometime this coming week then. and its only off by 4 days and well after the iPhone launch so it will get all the attention and i kinda had a feeling that the 28th might be it since the XOOM was confirmed for the 24th... but atleast the ThunderBolt will have its own launch day

Trying to be as optimistic as i can about this, the news and rumors are making me sick of this phone and i really want it.
its going to spoil the whole "I finally got it" moment and after a few hours i would be like "I was going crazy over this? Seriously?!"

Don't get me wrong, i still want it, i've been waiting for something to throw the EVO off its throne and a great successor to the Incredible unlike the Incredible S.
