Thanks for all the info. I am looking to get rid of my DX for this, even if I have to pay outright for it. Hope all the info you received on this is correct, would be great to have a HTC phone that is polished and works like it should. :)
 
Well, dang. I thought I could only upgrade through VZW since I'm using an annual upgrade, but I just checked online at BB and apparently I can. I wonder if they're still taking pre-orders at my BB?

Thanks to jayishere and PSYCHotIcJonny for trying to give us up to date information on BBuy and VZW store info!

jayishere - is there any rumblings about extending the free buyback program for TB pre-orders if the date slips to 2/28? I went to my local BBuy in Sterling, VA and the folks there said I was pretty much out of luck. Even if the phone launches on 2/24 @ BBuy, I will be out of town until the 28th - so I'm screwed either way! :(
 
The back looks very polished and slick. Does it have a metal feel or rubberized? Just trying to get an idea of how it feels. I realize its a dummy phone, but do you have a weight comparison, if you had to make a guess? By polished, I mean it doesn't look cheap.

I believe they weight the dummies to feel mostly the same weight as the phone itself.
