On the BB website add if you mouse over the $ sign it brings up a text box with a price of $249 but says coming soon.

The only thing I get when placing my mouse anywhere on the ad is a detail box that just highlights what's in the ad...no mention of coming soon. (?) I imagine that BB employees will be providing the additional delay info. in person, though, given that we now know there is nothing in stock today certainly.

I think the $249 price says with contract and "after in store savings" applied. So, I'm assuming $299 with an instant rebate of $50 at purchase may be the case. (?)
Yes that must be the case! Last week the verizon store (wireless city) by me started taking pre-orders for $100 non refundable and said it would be 199$ for 2 year price. Maybe thats how he got the 199 because of the 100$ preorder so the phone may very well be 299$ before discounts etc...
But all i see is prices (and skype). That doesn't mean they are releasing it today right? The only place I can find coming soon is by the demo in the mobile section of the site.

I wonder if this is just to be future proof for there upcoming ads in case its delayed again or they simply don't know again....

Yea I thought that was interesting. Unless that has happened in the past I would assume its just another typo. I couldn't imagine them taking that away. Very misleading it is. Hopefully.

I think that might just mean, you can buy more expandable memory separately.

Nope, it's packed to the gills out of the box.
It has 32GB installed (MicroSD) and that's the max.
Now, that's not saying down the road an update or hack will allow larger cards, but it's loaded for bear out of the box.
With this 2 week Delay, HTC could have been working on a Gingerbread update for the phone to go OTA on release day. I highly doubt it, but its a nice thought =).
I have 3 best buys in my area, all within 3-5 blocks of eachother...so technically..I could pre-order the phone at 3 best buys, receive 3 gift cards, and have a better chance at getting the phone faster depending on which best buy gets the shipment in sooner...CRAZY Idea I know.

LOL nice thought. They would all probably call you on the same day within minutes of each other. Well, maybe that's only my luck.
One can only hope that its on its way! Anyone live near Oakwood, OH? I pre-ordered mine at the Best Buy near Fairfield Commons Mall. Haven't heard anything, but dont want to feel the disappointment either so i haven't called.
