Best Buy Details

We're all in that holding pattern, just waiting for this phone.

Question for ya Jay - I have a phone that may not make it as long as it takes for Thunderbolt to arrive.

Could I do the switch from ATT to Verizon - join/create family plan on wifes existing VZW plan with a diff phone and then swap/do something lol when the Thunderbolt comes out?

Not sure if that is doable but my current on last legs so want to know options - thanks (if this is off topic to a degree he can just PM me and I apologize to rest of members)

using best buy you have 30 days to return the phone. After 14 days your locked into verizon, but you can still swap the phone out for contract price of another.

If we think about this logically, does it make sense for HTC and Verizon to be spending the significant dollars that they are on advertising (via various media) if they are not going to release it for two to three weeks? My logic tells me that they are ramping up a campaign for a release that would be sooner rather than later. Again, it is all speculation; however, I opine that it would be illogical to spend such amounts of money and then possibly losing the impulse purchase that would exist if they were to release the phone closer to the advertising push. Perhaps they are just asking for a "putsch" upon themselves.

Miami, historically, has been a pretty reliable source. Since November, though, he hasn't been extremely accurate with anything. This isn't his fault, since he gets his info from somewhere deep inside Verizon. He called the Incredible release flawlessly last year, but as far as the Thunderbolt is concerned, he hasn't had a perfect track record. His reports on everything from specs, to announcements, to preorders, to release dates. Really hit or miss.

He does his best to get reliable information to us, but with his record over the last few months, honestly I think our best bet is to try to drown out all the reports and wait until Thursday. If nothing by Thursday, then we can start to panic. I would wager if nothing comes up Thursday, then the 28th has a shot. If not then, my money is on March 3rd. Anything after that, and it is just out of hand.
