Nice.. I spent a lot of money at bestbuy (not 25k) also but they still said no. When the Evo shortage was going on they were willing to exchange past my 45 as they didn't have any Evos! I think they were pissed i even brought up exchange! I have the droid X and it KEEPS RESTARTING. Is the Droid Inc a better phone?
 
if everyone could be on one wave length we should all jump ship at the same time just to make a point. lol also on a side note if we are waiting this long for the htc thunderbolt we might as well keep on waiting till the droid bionic comes out

I didn't switch to att, I got verizon iphone 4. Just so I can use it until something else comes around that is LTE capable. If the damn phone comes out tomorrow I am all for it, if it doesn't I could care less anymore.

the reason switched to verizon was because I get full 5 bars in my room, with att I only got one. I am amazed at the signal strength I get with the verizon, specially the iphone with verizon.
 
verizon is good where i am at. but if they keep going the way they are going somebody is gonna snap. look at the google graphs the search for the htc thunderbolt is off the charts. twitter people are complaining everyday to verizon and htc. lets not get started on facebook. the wall alone is ridiculous. lord knows what the private messages says. poor best buy is caught in the middle but i think they will think twice next time they look to have the exclusive.

From the sound of things they got an agreement with HTC to have exclusive's for the foreseeable future, remember the announcements of the phones at MWC? Desire S and Incredible S and the others, BestBuy has an exclusive deal with HTC for the Incredible S in the UK and you can bet they'll likely get the same for the US version.
 
also let me put this so called insiders to rest , i have a cousin that works at verizon, she is a close to me as a sister. she dont have a cluse about when this phone is coming, she hasnt heard anything about a email or the so called problems with thsi phone. her and some of her coworkers trained on this phone and now alll of a suddent they phones are jacked give me a break. here are the real facts

1 .preorder at best buy
2. get a gift card
3. wait
4.wait
5. shut up get screwed and wait some more

can we all agree that the roof jumper commericial is no longer new and the girl is not counting to any date. we are all adult and there is no subliminal messages in that ad. lets not hype this bulls**t up anymore then what it is

The commercial is very clearly targeting the fact that the storm (by counting lightening and thunder separation) is coming closer. No doubt they're doing this to signify the Thunderbolt is coming closer. Now whether or not the counting is directly related to the release being 3 days away is definitely reading into it but not unreasonable by any means.
