Best Buy Details

My BB "guy" said the same thing about the accessories coming in today. He did not have a date but he also said that the iPhone just showed up by UPS on the day it went on sale. Is that accurate for your BB too?

Just got the call where the BBM person let me know she had bad news and that there was another delay yadda yadda - no date known yadda yadda. so there's that.

yeah, they just show up, so who knows, could be tomorrow. the i*hone showed up the night before though. The atrix showed up the afternoon of.
 
Metairie, LA (Vets+I-10) said DEFINITELY 2/28/11. The dummy bolt is on display. Just got my Droid X but may switch depending on real world testimony...

my store in tucson AZ said they will have them tomorrow. can u see if they have them please?

The wife and I renewed our vzw contract on the 10th, got told the TBolt was going to drop on the 14th, and long story short, been watching this mess like a s-l-o-w-m-o-t-i-o-n train wreck since.

Just called the vzw rep and he told us it'll be March 3rd or 4th so I guess we won't be holding out any longer on HTC and will just save some cash for now.

Which I know I'm gonna regret. But, as the Beatles sang; oh blah dee oh bla da life goes on yea, I guess I'll get used to Blur :(

On the upside, these are our first smartphones and at least I've kept her away from the iphone (which her friends really pushed).

I had been hearing 70 bucks for the program but he even had literature in store that said 60.

Either way, I will definately be calling corporate because I dont have 70, 60, or 30 dollars to piss away.

Just to clarify for anyone planning on hanging onto their preorder already placed through BB and hoping to keep the free buy back privilege if t-bolt release goes beyond that...I got it done by calling the corporate HQ phone number - not an 800 number - and asking for a supervisor. I appeared to still be transferred to some sort of customer service, but it was a higher tier and definitely a supervisor. She agreed with my concern and quickly indicated that she would intervene on my behalf to get the store to honor the free buy back OR issue a gift card/reimbursement in that same amount if the store charged me. Bottom line is if you're in this situation, don't leave yourself simply at the mercy of the local store. Sorry for being this detailed, but I knowthere are some folks out there who have expressed worry over this whole buy back deal.

I only wish I could get equal results with making the phone appear! But I am promised that call from the Verizon sales rep. 7:45 a.m. Monday to take my order. We'll find out...unless it goes from the ups truck to BB first. Then I'll be in line with the rest of you! :)
 
Just to recap - nothing on 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th....and now they say the 28th and we are supposed to give a damn? Pattern = no release, say 3 days from now, then 4 days, then 3 days, then 4 days...all BS, the only real answer is that nobody, including Verizon knows when this will drop. I'm betting the CEO doesn't even know, or care. I am also betting there are serious problems with this phone. There is no reason to wait, and I don't believe the iPhone story.

I've never had a Verizon phone or contract, but right now they are making my AT&T look like best. They moved the Atrix release date from March 6 to Feb 22nd in a SNAP. REALLY tempted to Inspire...

I posted earlier in the thread, but north fayette called me this after noon to tell me the phone was NOT coming tomorrow. He said they got an email, and that it didn't say when they would be coming. Store speculation was early March.
