Ugh, no way. That's what the husband is for. LOL Can't wait to get my hands on this phone. Anyone know if there is a speaker behind the kickstand? Hubby and I were discussing this last night. Some say there is, and some say there isn't. Doesn't really matter to me, just curious.

There is definitely a speaker behind the kickstand. It has been shown in several youtube videos.

I'm assuming info is the same for micro sd?

SDHC cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. The SD Speed Class Ratings specify the following minimum write speeds based on "the best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied":[19]

* Class 2: 2 MB/s
* Class 4: 4 MB/s
* Class 6: 6 MB/s

SDHC cards will often also advertise a maximum speed (such as 133x or 150x) in addition to this minimum Speed Class Rating. See section Speeds above for a further explanation. One critical difference between the Speed Class and the maximum speed ratings is the ability of the host device to query the SD card for the speed class and determine the best location to store data that meets the performance required. "Maximum speed" ratings are quoted by the manufacturers but unverified by any independent evaluation process.

Yes.

Damn. $299:eek: is too much for this phone. I can't see 4G speed worth that much of a premium. Not without any new functionality of the phone. The Inspire is $70, so whats the extra $230 for? So I can watch UTube videos a few seconds earlier? I know the specs for both phones, they are a little different, but the functionality of the phones is the same. Blah...

They can keep the card and knock 100 dollars off the phone. Verizon is adding a premium for this card to be included. Look what they charge on their website for a 32GB card.

currently on the Evo--and i know the TB "is not the same phone" yada yada (yes i just yada yada'd), but i'm not sure if i'll be willing to fork over $300 for a similar phone with only 4g as the biggest draw (processor aside)...Skype? eh. Tango works fine...
my excitement and willingness for $249 is slowly dwindling and patience is definitely playing a factor in this.
my sister just got an Inspire, gonna play with it today and imagine it to be a TB--maybe it'll sway me Back to the TB for its snappiness...here's hoping.

I know this is sort of out of place, but you guys and gals are the ones I've been talking to, so I'm looking for your opinions.

I have been obsessing over this phone for however long now and I'm starting to go through that phase where I'm wondering if I'm making the right choice. I live in Saratoga NY and it's not looking like I'm going to get 4G coverage for a LONG TIME. :( So, I'm wondering if this phone is still worth it if I'm only going to get to use it on the 3G network and occasionally on 4G when I visit family. Here are my main two questions for you all...

Is this phone worth the upgrade from my INC (which I'm giving to my wife) if it is only going to be used in 3G coverage and...

Is it true that if I get a 4G phone (even if I'm not in 4G area) that I COULD POSSIBLY be grandfathered into the 3G price range when and if there is a hike in price for 4G? If so, then I think it is worth it.

I ask these questions to you all, because I've been known to get overly excited about the latest gadgets and need a little perspective. Oh and to make sure this thread doesn't get me in trouble for not being related to BB, seeing the advertised price of $299 in BB ad instead of $249 is something to consider too, I suppose. Thank you, fellow trusted sufferers. :)

no, Tango is strictly phone to phone (iphone to Evo, too)

Tango worked ridiculously better than Qik, the other video chat service Sprint was able to lock onto for the bloatware w/ the Evo (after they fixed the battery drain issue in the beta)

How fast the card can read/write your info. If you are shooting HD video "they" stay you should have class 6, I have a class 4 for my digital SLR that shoots full HD and it works just fine!

Im pretty sure micro sd cards only go up to class 4 but im not positive. But anyways anybody get their newspaper yet and complain to best buy? :)
