for what its worth i could have sworn i mentioned about the Incredible 2 not being called that, hmm, maybe i posted that on a different forum and didn't realize i had posted something on here instead, my bad then, but i don't appreciate the others that began calling me a liar

While i'm extremely excited for the ThunderBolt (not just for the LTE) i thought that tweet would have also been something juicy for the mindset

its possible the Incredible 2 or whatever they plan on calling it will be more powerful than the Incredible S, if i recall the Desire wasn't as powerful as the Incredible, and thats essentially the Desire for Verizon aka Nexus One as well

anywho, on another topic, CTIA is in March, and EVO was announced last year at this event.

but again, this wouldn't make sense for HTC to have an even more powerful device than the ThunderBolt on Verizon, unless of course it doesn't have 4G I guess so it won't take away from ThunderBolt sales

i'm agitated now, hopefully this week is the week so i can steer clear of the forums, people are getting rude/antsy and even more crazy than the Verizon fruit fans...

Definitely agreeing with you here, on a few things.

First, people don't need to get all up on each other. We are all mature, this is a place to share our thoughts on something we all have in common.

Second, I think that HTC HAS to have something up their sleeves, different from the Inc S. Maybe the S (or 2, in the US) will have the same specs here as it does overseas. But there has to be another phone cooking that is better than the S/2, because that phone is kind of underwhelming. By the end of the year, I expect something super sexy from HTC.

I'll give my recently stolen/acquired Thunderbolt to the person who has the nicest manners on this board.....which so far is no one haha

Wow I leave for a few hours and things get naaasty.

And welcome to all you new members, I see this weekend has brought a lot of new "faces."

I have to say, thats the only theory thats plausible if they expect to sell them tomorrow, usually when a device launches it has to be there before opening the store, of course that might not be the case either...

before being called a liar again,
I would make sense that this is the case since FedEX wouldn't have anything delivered until around 10-11am at earliest

so if Verizon is sticking by there word for tomorrow's release
they have to have them already

then there's also the other theory of them being available for PRE-ORDER tomorrow and on sale Thursday

tomorrow is almost here, only 4 more hours until "fair time" (3am EST - Midnight West Coast)

Completely forgot they could have been shipped out on Thursday or Friday last week for Monday knowing the update would be an OTA and ready by tomorrow. Excellent point my friend.

Indeed, Thanks

I agree with another poster, HTC has to have something else cooking up

Qualcomm showed off a few dualcore snapdragons at MWC and then not too long after the Desire S/Incredible S were announced they also said they were working with Qualcomm to get a device out with there newest dualcore chip

i have a feeling Sprint might get a better phone than us on Verizon once again... EVO2 has been rumored ever since late last year as the HTC Saber

Hopefully HTC has something not long after Summer thats even nicer than the ThunderBolt for me to use my second upgrade on :D I LOVE being able to get 1 year contracts on two different plans and be able to upgrade twice a year :D ITS JUST AWESOME, especially with how fast technology evolves.

For me, the biggest tell is the fact that Jay has not posted today. I think he received some BIG NEWS today at work and was told he would lose his job if he shared before official word comes out tomorrow.

From what I have heard there are quite a few dual cores coming out but will only be 3G. Don't beat me up but can't remember the names. Its late and I haven't had any more coffee, yet

Ha, i really wish i was as optimistic as you...but ya...again, until i get the damn thing in my hand, i wont believe a word of it...

I doubt that Jay's absence is an impending sign of the phone being released tomorrow. Sometimes people just can't get to a computer. Don't read too much into it! lol

Yeah, sounds like an Embargo like Engadget and other tech sites have to abide by when they review something or have a press release before its set to be released.

Its looking really good guys :D

I wonder if the mount this time is a cheapo mount like the Incredible had last year or if its a premium one similiar to the one for the Droid X

I keep forgetting to show you guys this, MHL = Mobile High-Definition Link, it was announced to be compatible with the Galaxy S2, and what it does is instead of using an HDMI port on the phone, you can use the microUSB port and output HDMI connections using a special microUSB to HDMI wire.

I wonder if this is part of Gingerbread since its a standard microUSB jack on the Galaxy S2 that will be used to do it

why am i posting this?
because its possible even if its not officially available for the Tbolt, we could get the same functionality if someone comes up with a hack (more than likely will happen, since its already rooted too)

here's an article on it, i can't seem to find the one i read on a better credible website
