Best Buy Details

Our store stills shows no shipment incoming. But im not worried. RSS is not the most reliable tracker. Im still looking towards a launch next week.

lol right here! just been sitting back dont want to get anyone pissed off at me! nothing but some bs on my end i will get my weekly report saturday for the week but last week we had a big shipment cancelled from BB so read into that if u want..... im just tired of this runaroud! i want my phone!!!!

There's a possibility Best Buy will start selling it exclusively on March 8th, beginning with those who pre-ordered. Rumors have been circulating just today that some of the more knowledgeable Best Buy staff have been throwing around that March 8 date when asked about the TB. Others say the 10th. Most don't know.

What we know right now is that an announcement is imminent and will come by Monday at the latest. I'm pretty confident the release date isn't going to be later than the 10th, even despite the announcement delays.

Thunderbolt devices began shipping to stores today. I think store employees are going to be notified of this sometime tomorrow, at which point maybe then we'll HAVE to have an announcement, by default, simply because everyone will know.

However, Bennnnnnn, the guy who claims he is the financial something for Verizon and also thought there would be an announcement yesterday posted this at 8:18 Eastern time:

Sorry guys, no updates today unless you're interested in the Blackberry Storm 3... which doesn't even compare to the Thunderbolt.

The 10th is on schedule as far as I have been told. No clue as to what is happening with this announcement, but I expect it any day now since everything is ready for launch and was planned for two days ago. I'll try to dig up some info over the weekend regarding the announcement and why they are holding off again.

EDIT: This device WILL be getting HTCsense.com shortly after launch. It is coming. No Thunderbolts have shipped yet.

2 guys who both claim to have deep inside info are giving completley opposite claims....grrrrrrrrrr

I'm not sure about bestbuy offering them two days earlier but I understand that I am able to sell them on the 10th. Not sure how many I will get but I have 26 spoken for, if I have any left over I will post here, and it will be on a first come first serve basis. Do not PM me I'll post how many I have an will take the first ones. IF I HAVE LEFTOVERS!

Could you elaborate a little? You own a vzw authorized dealer store, right? Did you just get some sort of word?
 
So you have the phones in or u will be getting them in. I was just wondering if you will have them this week. Hopefully that means all bb and vz will have them this week.

Can you folks verify the price of HTC Thunderbolt that is in add this week? 299.99 or 249.99 and is it normal for you folks to advertise something you can't even buy for the last two weeks and provide no date when it will be available?

Now. is it $249.99 with the pre-order after the $50 gift card is applied or is it $249.99 then apply the gift card, which would mean it would cost pre order customers $200.00 at time of pickup?

Sounds like you not getting any break if you preorder. Phone's gonna be $300 bucks and after you give them $50 gift card it will become $250 lol.

Sorry, I was busy. So my Rep said that the phones are shipping, and no I wont call anyone till I 1) have the phones in my hand, 2) they let me know when the street date is, it not worth the fine to break street date, I have 5 Stores, unlike bestbuy that may be able to pay it. As soon as the bolts arrived I'll lit you know.
 
OK everyone i have my own lil story to add to the bowl of speculation of when we are gettn our phone...today i went into my local verizon store to pay my bill and when i was gettn ready to leave the rep i was dealing with asked if i was interested in purchasing a Xoom i told her no but i was interested in a phone and before i could say which one she finished my sentence with the Tunderbolt, she said that she was waitn for it also andthen told me she believes it is goin to be released this week, but also said not to hold her to it because they have been delaying it...i know its not comfirmation but its maybe a lil light at the end of the tunnel for us....

I tried attaching the whole PDF, but no dice. The Thunderbolt not on the front page, and the iPad 2 being teased by Best Buy is actually kind of comical and ironic and sad at the same time....
