What is the price for the HTC Thunderbolt? Is it $249.99 (The price in the ad at the time I reserved it at or $299.99 (Current ad price the last two weeks)? Just for clarification purposes, if I pre-order the Thunderbolt at $249.99, in the form of a $50.00 deposit, the Thunderbolt will cost me 199.99 when it is available for sale or ......$249.99? why would they fire him? he's just creating more hype. he may have even been specifically told to post a bunch of cryptic messages to stir the pot and get people going nuts over this phone. the thunderbolt went viral, and in the big picture, i'd bet verizon is thrilled about it. i feel like there is more going on here than we give them credit for. companies like verizon aren't stupid.

you don't get paid 6-figures as a marketing exec and have something like this happen on accident. this is free advertising. while you may lose a few customers that get tired of the game and get a different phone, the majority will be further driven to the thunderbolt. i am definitely in the latter category. this phone is going to be awesome.

And most of the customers getting tired of the game and getting a different phone are getting Iphone4s, VZW and Steve are loving that.
They are probably behind the TBolt vs Iphone threads also. Should I get a TBolt or an Iphone ?? Money in the bank.
 
yes when i say big i mean high priority delievery but im be honest aside from the TB and XOOM covers and crap thats what they say every freakin week! dont know if its getting put on the list or they think its coming and it gets held back but thats the joke at the terminal when i go in there on sat

1600 mah. Wanted to keep the size of the phone the same. I have never bought a extended battery before, hope I didn't waste my money. I plan on keeping this phone for a while so what the heck. I'm all in on HTC.:)

If it's anything like the 3 Seidio 1750 mAh slim extended life batteries I bought for Touch Pro2, they probably won't be as good as the stock 1400 mAh battery. Hope I'm wrong, for your sake, but let us know. Mine are fairly worthless after 8 months, only good for about 2 hours now.

If I recall, BMX said the 3rd in a very "mysterious coded" way. As far as I'm concerned, might as well wait for Schwinn, Huffy, and Mongoose to weigh in. I'm sure their info will be just as useful. And before anyone claims, "He's very reputable, his track record is xxx....etc etc", he got this one wrong just like a lot of people so as far as I'm concerned, no one's proven to me that they're a reputable source when it comes to the TB. I think HTC and Verizon has let down a lot of people, not only their customers.

I sure will. Made so much $ off my X that I had $ to spare. Hopefully I can get a car mount and desk mount for 100.00. (that's all i have left)

Agreed...I'm fairly certain I'm goin back to the Evo, and just wait out the Evo2
