So according to Bennnn, the phone isn't ready for a March 10th release, but is ready for March 17th? Being only one week, I could only assume the push back to March 17th has to do with logistics and nothing else. If Bennnnn is who he says he is, and VZW corporate knows for sure that the phone will be released March 17th and there's no more potential for a delay, then they could announce the date today...

The fact that they're not makes me think the release date is still a moving target

Not sure if this is a big enough upgrade from the Incredible to warrant it but next upgrade not due till July and by then Verizon will probably have the 4g tiered pricing in place. what to do, what to do....

Exept it's been pushed back by a week, every week, for four weeks now. Next Saturday it will be moved to the 24th and on and on .....

Here we are in March and STILL It's anybody's guess as to when we'll see it in our OWN hands and I don't mean holding a dummy phone in a store either!

Don't I know it- I followed the infamous Incredible thread from November to Launch day. At least with this one they at least acknowledge it's existence ( ces, commercials, etc.) With the Incredible we had little to no acknowledgement from Big Red till a couple of days before preorders were started. Love my Incredible but the lure of 4G is strong...

No doubt! However, the Incredible has a proven track record. It's stood the test of everyday use for me and I'M a heavy user! I truly HOPE the Thinderbolt lives up to the claims! As I said already, I preordered one myself! If it's better than the Incredible, I'm all OVER it! Time will tell, if it EVER begins!

I've sent a couple PM's to some trusted members of this forum in hopes that they can relay my verification, so as I do not have to post any personal information here.

No, I am not using my own name. Yes, I am a FA, our department is pretty big. Yes, I'm using a proxy and someone else's computer and internet when posting here.

I hope this can clear things up a bit.

No updates as of today, but I'm sure there will be some fresh new info come Monday.

Skype will be on this phone eventually. This isn't my department but it will either be one of two things. 1. Present on the phone at launch, or 2. Be included as an instantaneous OTA update when activating your Thunderbolt in the Verizon store. Skype has been ready since the 28th so it is sure to make its way to this phone. I'll be sure to look into it more tomorrow for you.

I wanted to give props to Bennnnn for actually braving the insanity of this Thunderbolt launch.... I know I made fun of the name but either he knows someone or he is someone and he does a nice riddle which I love!

To those that continue to question those that try to bring calmness to this Crapstorm I would say this.. Putting your career/ income/ reputation on the line and even risking legal issues to help those that doubt, hate and will abandon you when the crap hits the fan takes guts that alot of you wouldnt have.

So again props to Bennnnn for doing something that few in the industry will... putting the customer first.

Either one will be find as far as unlimited plans go. So far we have the Bonic scheduled towards the end of April, but I would hate to see it get pushed. Tiered plans will begin to show up towards the end of July. You have a 2-month buffer so the choice is yours!
