Root [Theme] Honeybread for ApeX 1.4 (Updated 3/2/11)

its a PITA cause I didnt know it updated until I went into it and was like hey, wtf, whered my themed market go! went and checked the version # and saw it was different. I was like huh... ok... then started getting FC's when installing anything from the market so I had to go and uninstall the market updates and now I have my themed one back and it works again lol
 
man EC, i love this theme...my only hope is that this theme continues to grow and evolve...

the more bits and pieces that match the color scheme the better for me...

the green bits being changed to a matching blue would go a LONG way to making the whole theme even more professional looking...

if all those things were changed up...i would petition Fab to make "Honeybread" the default theme for ApeX...i think it would really set ApeX apart from some of the other roms out there...

yeah I am definitely planning on doing more with this theme... making it more and more complete each time. with incremental updates to a) get opinions on what people do and dont like and b) keep people happy (getting occasional updates and changes always made me happy lol)

I wouldnt petition fab to put this onto apex for a default theme though. how that looks is his masterpiece and if people would like to run honeybread they can always install it easily enough.
maybe once its all finished he can put it into the toolbox if he'd like to so people can load it on the fly

Now I have to find the v2.3.4 market somewhere so I can theme it :D

know how I got it? restoring my old stock .340 blur nandroid then wiping data/factory rest and wipe cache... when everything loaded it was there

if I had thought about it I should have grabbed the apk before i uninstalled the update lol :::palmface:::
 
Just installed. I am liking this theme. The green and black of Gingerbread got a bit dull for me. Thanks for all the great work.

yes thats right.
when the phone charges it has 5 animations. the steady F means its close to fully charged (90% and above I think). when it says 100 thats when it IS fully charged. If I was to have it say 100 instead of the F you would think your phone was fully charged when it really isnt.

Great theme man, just have one request right now. Can you post your LPP dock? I can't find anything that goes with the theme :P
 
Hey EC, I did want to mention that when my phone was in my car dock and then fell asleep and was awakened, I saw the standard lock screen. It wasn't the wonder lock screen you created.
 
I made some of my own custom icons from gingerbread and recolored my beautiful widget skin. I think this theme looks awesome especially after I got that honeycomb live wallpaper. Thanks for the great work you did on it! Here is what my home screen looks like.

I also noticed that yesterday when my phone was asleep and I got a call it still had the apex 1.4.1 lock screen, is there anyway to change this as well?
 
Great tip on the live wallpaper. I have always liked the blue colors in the themes and this one hits the spot for me.
 
does the remove clock from status bar and remove data throttling still work with this theme? thinking about giving this a flash, anyone know of some good icons to use with adw?

Yes. If you already have that set on your device, this theme will not change that because this theme doesn't touch the service.jar file or something like that.
 
How would you go about taking the honeybread theme off and going directly back to Apex 1.4.1 gingerbread? Please help.
