Lol I have the iPhone too. I Jailbroke it just to mess around. I think its time to return it too, and I just got it yesterday.
 
I saw some postings about the free Buy Back Program being offered with a Case # when calling the 1-800-Best-Buy number if you preordered a TB during the promo. I tried that today and was denied. They told me that it is the individual store that makes that decision and they cannot offer that at the national level. Also, for those considering buying from Verizon over the phone, they have offered me a free month's service if I upgrade to the TB when it is released. I may do this and use my Gift Card for the accessories. Anyone else getting offers like this??

Yea they told me I would get a 100 dollar credit on my bill

I called last week to get update on release of TB. Since my phone is primary on family plan, I can upgrade after a year for the 299.95 price. Even though I pre-ordered at the 249.95 price with BB I wasn't sure I wanted to do this. He told me that they have a special promo to get credit for one month service ($120 for my plan) if I did upgrade over the phone (not a store). As soon as the TB is released he is calling my cell personally to proceed with it if I wanted to. He was hoping the phone was going to be released on the 3rd. Oh well. I will post if I hear something before we all hear something....
 
What happened in here? From what I can tell, this thread is the closest to the mythical 5000th post. Lets get the convo started back up. I see Verizons CFO is speaking today, webcast in about 30 mins, and then Melone speaks again tomorrow. Hope we hear something, I mean its past the point of boiling over.
 
I think we will soon see Best Buy do a full retraction on this phone. Seems Verizon has some serious problems with going to full 4G on these phones or at least the bolt. It would not surprise me to see a summer release.
 
FWIW: I went in to the BB store last night to talk to the store manager about my phone situation (my 30 day exchange window is over on the 14th) and we went over to the mobile department to go over the options (he didn't know some of the complexities of the mobile dept.). The BB computer still shows it for a 3/10 in store date and we (the mobile associate and I) explained to him how it keeps getting pushed back... blah, blah blah. He understood the push backs and specifically said that they were directed not to put out any ad retractions for the TB in the store this week. We left it that if it does not come it on the 10th to come back in and we will work something out. Most likely waiting and using the buy back and a discount to make it the same price as the $250 pre-sale. We will see!
 
Has anyone else not seen my Thunderbolt today?


Man it is starting to get to me. At first it was like this is just a phone no big deal that it did not come out on 2-14 and than it did not come out the next week and the next week and I can't believe I am so freaking sucked into wanting this thing. I have a damn Incredible it is a great phone and yet all i can think about now is the T-bolt why has it gotten to me like this? I have never so looked forward to a phone before.

Help!!! I need Help someone talk me down before I go on a rampage and take out a bunch of innocent Blue Shirts at Best Buy!!!

Yeah, we had no word to put out the retraction (they send us one to print and post) weird, I know, first time since it started appearing in the ad.
