Ok iv'e never had this problem but i have read a couple things about it,
a couple of the fixes are to format the sd card make sure it's formated to FAT32 and reflash cyanogenmod, also some people have to reflash CM7 like 3 times before SD card will work, another thing is if you have ever tried to partition your SD cards the may be broken do you know what class SD card you are trying to use.

PS. If your going to Format the SD card transfer your pictures music and videos to your PC first.
 
Hi, Thanks for your suggestion about voice search, Lee. I uninstalled-reboot-reinstall-reboot ed and it all works now. Great. I did notice that the as-shipped voice search showed up as around 2 meg in uninstall for root. the one I downloaded from the market was around 4meg. The second uninstall also did not behave the same way as the first uninstall. (I just mentioned this incase it helps some one else)

I am really happy now. Less typing of sms messages!!
 
I've just managed to get the phone sorted with the battery issues! :-) The auto installer - is that combining the latest update with the latest fixes? Would I need to reinstall everything that I've just backed up or does it keep my existing preferences etc??

Thanks in advance for answering what it probably an obvious question!

all fixes are included except voice search an maybe camera button u will have to do them yourself they are straight forward fixes u shouldnt hav any problems :) i had to reinstall all my apps recovery of data didnt work for me so i used titanium backup that installed my apps

I've got titanium, just lost all my SMS last time. Wasn't too much of a problem, just dont know whether to opt for this update or wait for the next etc..

Do you know if the 'quick' installer works for this 1.5??

Thanks to all involved for CyanogenMod 7/Android 2.3! Any updates on the Bluetooth calling issue? All I get is static when I initiate a call over my bluetooth headset.

I have been trying to find a fix for this and i have all the bluetooth files from lg 2.1 eclair and i am goin through the system files and trying to replace the bluetooth files in CM7 with the ones from lg 2.1 but finding the right files to replace is not an easy task. Maur4ik hasn't tryed to fix this because i don't think he owns a bluetooth headset.

If i find the right files i will inform on this forum but it may take a while.

I have a class 4 4GB sd card, I think any lower classes won't work. On the SD Card you should see a number on its own (sometimes in a circle) this is the class number.

I think Chinese is supported, not sure about Korean, some of the language settings are in the actual language, so I can't tell. But if it's not supported then you can download MoreLocale 2 from the Market and you should be able to get the phone working in any language :D

Sorry about that, didn't change that part :p The changelog will always be the most up-to-date, so yeah FM radio is included and working :D

Try deleting Voice Search with Titanium Backup and then re-installing it

The auto installer has the latest update and fixes, you'll need to restore any backups you made because the update, whether you do it manually or by the auto installer, will wipe your device :)

I dont get it. Wheres the changelog for 1.5? The first post hasnt been updated yet, right ? Is it worth updating from 1.4b?

Also, how exactly can i update without having to reinstall all the apps? I never got that either.

Lastly, ever since i updated to 2.2 and now to 2.3 i havent been able to use data on my phone. I cannot receive the service messages with the settings and when i enter the APN settings by hand nothing happens. I dont even get a 2G/3G indicator on the reception indicator up on the tray. Anyone has any ideas ?

ps: Is there a homepage for this port or an RSS feed i can subscribe to? Its very confusing trying to follow this thing from this page

The changelog is in the first post.. It always has been, the changelog will tell you if it's worth upgrading to any version.

Are you sure the APN settings were entered correctly? Is there a selected dot next to the APN setting?

Everything will be updated in the first post, if there's an update, it'll be in the first post. I'm working on an RSS feed that'll update you when updates and fixes are released. I'm almost there :)

EDIT: I've managed to create an RSS feed which'll get updated whenever a new update and/or fix comes out with links RSS Feed

my bat life since 1.6 has stayed the same more or less i notice that when i install certin apps that it could die fairly quick but thats just because my task killer wasnt set to kill it when im finished using it try a task killer an set it to auto :)
