Thanks for the info, so if the 10 is a waste, do you think the Thunderbolt could see some speed improvement from a class 6 over the class 4? Would it be noticeable/worth the investment?

You know, I honestly have no clue...My Evo has no drag and I have a Class 4 card...the processor has a lot to do with the speed too since it has to render the picture. I'm pretty sure Verizon took all that into consideration when they spec'd the Bolt. In my opinion, the gains would be minimal going from a 4 to a 6, but then again, some audiophiles hear things I can't...

My opinion...don't go and buy a faster SD card for the T-Bolt. This is an over discussed issue IMO.

You would want a faster SD card if you were running apps, ROM, or using a swap file directly from your card...which, I'm not sure why anyone would do that on a device with plenty of internal storage, 768MB of RAM. This would be the biggest waste of money I could imagine.

I feel like Im apologizing a lot for being a noob, but what Is my SD card going to be used for? Is it just to hold my music, videos and pics? Thanks!
 
Is it confirmed that the TB comes with a class4 card?

I currently have a class2 32gb card i my incredible . Guess I'll probably put the class4 in my Gtab and the class2 in my TB if that's the case. I've never really noticed a diffrence in speed as I had a class6 16gb card before the 32 except for file transfers

Can you put apps on it? Or is the phone's memory going to be enough. My INC gave me a low memory message due to too many apps.

Sorry, I missed your follow on question. I see it was answered the way I would have. lol I have an Incredible too. The only thing I hate is Amazon Mp3 puts all purchased tracks on the phone memory and I have to remember that when I go to transfer music off the phone to a pc.

3. Others are doing a great job in keeping you all updated from all sides..but to be honest we are at a point where no matter what we say or how we say it, attacks and negative people find nothing better then to continue to be just that.. Negative. Teams have to fix some issues to make a date and are working on that.. nothing more to be said that is worth saying in my opinion.

I have been nothing but upfront as I can be about this whole fiasco… gave you the expected and planned upon launch date before CES and again back in Jan and generally shared way too much of VZW’s/ Best buys dirty laundry for taking people’s cash with no product..

I have never seen anything like this Device Launch in years and its actually amazing on so many levels I am increasingly concerned for some peoples emotional wellbeing if this device doesn’t launch this week..

Must be one of those forum people...

there is a thread on AndroidCentral (shout out to Phil) that is over 530 pages and in those pages I have been called everything but a child of god, a Pot stirrer to outright spawn of Satan, just because I dont engage in witty banter and some are a lil too slow to understand a poem?

So this is the Final Final time im going say this… its a phone.. it will be out when its ready..

If you dont want to wait the same device is on sale at att and sprint and it even has “4G” just ask for the EVO or the Inspire.. hell you will even save money on the device..

its a nice day out.. kiss your families and be grateful that your not in Japan because I have friends there that would gladly trade places with us…

I'm sure that was from information he had received at the time. If another problem was found, (or if Apple told them "no" it seems) then there would be another delay. While it sounds like a great phone by the numbers, I (it's just me) wouldn't get one for a while. It seems there are too many issues just being discovered, so with that being the case, I'd wait.
 
It's amazing that he is getting attacked like that all over . I'm pretty sure all the information he has said was true at the time. Things change... I mean has no one ever said something that was true when you said it but things happened to make it false ??

Ya it is sad. Everyone complains about no info, yet someone with a respectable background, get thrown around, and they are still not happy. Yet lean on some ben guy with no credibility (that I know of) :mad:

Some people get indignant to the point you'd think it was their birthright to have one of those phones. I don't get it. I do think it will be out before CTIA...they don't want to be sitting on it still when a bunch of newer phones get spec'd out in public, then released a couple of months later...
