What's your next phone?

Im sure there are plenty of people who just got a droid x and we all know its one of the greatest. But some of us who got the X back in july im sure are very interested in upgrading sometime this year. So to those who might, what are you hopping on? Im gonna try my best to wait for quad core myself.

I got my X in August and until LTE is available in my area I am not going to be looking to upgrade, there will not be a point. I have a feeling there is not a phone going to be made the is not LTE as good of the X, maybe the X2, but not enough of an improvement for me to be willing to change over.

I personally am amazed that this far out I am not waiting to get my hands on a new phone. Usually 6 months after I have my phone there is a new one that has been released, or at least the info has been released that I know I will want to try. None of the new phone have done this for me yet.

The ideal phone to make me replace the X doesn't exist for me.
1) Super AMOLE
2) HDMI out
3) Quad core
4) 4" or more screen
5) Hard keyboard. That's the tough one. Top of the line phones typically don't have keyboards.

An unlocked 4.3 (or larger) IPS or super amoled screen phone. Must have dual core and top of the line GPU. Those are my basic requirements. 4G will be irrelavant for me where I live for quite some time, but since the best phones will also be 4G I expect to own a 4G phone as my next.

SGS2 with dual core, Super AMOLED plus is probably the closest one to your criteria except for physical keyboard.

The X is my first smartphone and I'm in love with it. All other phones are too small now. Maybe in a year and a half when I can upgrade, I'll get the Droid X3 or X4 or whatever they will have come out with by then. Brain implant? I'll take it!

I may go with the Bionic. The dual core, 4g and front camera may make it worth while. I already have an upgrade and likely won't go for a tbolt. The battery and lack of a dual core processor just don't make it worth the upgrade for me.

considering dual core support for smartphones won't likely be introduced until 2.4 I don't see the benefit of a DC phone yet

the one i want isn't available yet.
4.5" screen (same size as the DX, just a smaller bezel)
higher resolution than the DX (540x960 or whatever the qhd is) super amoled would be nice
ff camera
4g
a unique look....thats one of the things i LOVE about the X's back...no other phone is like it.

Just got my X a few weeks ago, but I didn't sign a contract for it, so I'll be in the market as soon as 4g is available here (supposedly May, but who knows?).

At least a dual core, higher resolution screen (540 x 960 plus), not samsung (fool me once), 4+" screen (preferably 4.3"), and I want to at least have the availability of a high capacity battery.

Well now that I have the thunderbolt, its going to be hard to give it up for anything not made by HTC. It's just an overall smoother user experience. So whatever dual/quad core HTC phone Is out next year , that's what my next phone will be.
