Hmm, I'm starting to think it could be the speaker too.. If it is then your best bet is to flash back to 2.1 like you said and send it for repair.. They'll never know :rolleyes:

Vista is the worst machine to try this update with unfortunately.. If you have an XP or 7 PC, I'd recommend using that. Otherwise try continuing on and see if it works, for some it does, some it doesn't. If not, then look through the pages of this and the CM6 thread, I think there might be some solutions for Vista drivers there somewhere :)
 
Hi I have a big problem with my sd card does not recognize anything I've done a backup there with titanium backup and I can not restore anything card I have is an 8gb Kingston ... Nor can I connect the phone with the Bluetooth car please Help ...

I see that there are many problems and so did not serve that I can find the original rom 2,1 from lg to pass on;

Perhaps the 3.5mm socket is playing up? Inserting the plug actually opens an electrical switch - could it be dirty or something on your phone?

I tried v1.6, but I did not set it up because i saw some russian language text and noted that the keyboard needed to be set up again, etc.

I saw a comment on the other board that the fm radio only played through the speaker, so did not follow through to set it up.

I am a little annoyed with myself at the moment. I was sure I used recovery to make myself a backup, but now I cannot find it . grr.

I have the cleanv1.5 installed, and am about to rebuild voice search, camera button, compass (think that was it) Then I will definitely make myself a backup using recovery - and check that it is actually available to use.
 
How do I set the alarm to make it ring for only a certain amount of time instead of having it ring until you hit the snooze button?

Did you flash it through fastboot? If you flash it through recovery then you get to keep all your data..

Have you found the backup yet?
 
i installed 1.6 checked the sensors but found no difference in what i had an i also noticed turn over silence was gone an my bat went from 100% to 70% in less than 5mins not good :( anyone notice anythin better in this update ? im gone back to soft mod
 
I'm normally a latest and greatest kind of guy but I think I'll wait to try 1.6. 1.5 is working pretty well for me.

Anybody have any ideal as to what 1.6 is supposed to bring to the table?

Just a fix for the sensors. It also introduces a bug where the radio plays out the speaker when the headphones are plugged in. As 1.5 is working good for me i'm going to wait.

There are known issues with CM7 and Titanium backup where once rebooted the phone gets stuck in a boot loop. Recommend using a different app for backing up, such as mybackup root.
 
I have changed my SIM and U cant connect to anything with it.
I have set up the correct APN settings but it keeps disapearing!
When i try to join a mobile network it says unavailible when i click on the new provider. only time it works it when i click on "Select automatically"!
Any help connectting please :(

Its not reconising the SIM atall..
getting a simcard logo with a ! in it on the status bar.
HELP!

EDIT2:
The old sim works fine so i dont think its the connectors
and the new one works in my friends GT540 (2.1).

what to do with the contacts; I made ​​the backup with the titanium that will restore; I try but nothing .. There is also a case to do with Bluetooth can not be combined with the Bluetooth car ... I find it very helpful if someone can help ..

I suppose the questions to ask are, what network where you on? What network is your friend on? What network is your new sim? Was your phone locked to a specific network before you flashed the new ROM?
