Well, after a week of trying to resurrect a data brick Virgin Mobile Optimus, I bit the bullet and re-uped with VZN getting as my last discounted phone a DX.
Man the X is something else isn't it.
I'm happy with it stock for now, finally got everything set up on it like I want and am waiting for the ordered Black Vertex Soft Skin Hard case for it. In the meantime I have the high gloss TCP (I think) Black silicone case from VZN. It actually looks pretty cool with kind of an internal layering look that makes it resemble carbon fiber. The left side of the case near the screen pulls out a bit and I'm not wild about that but it was also the cheapest ($20) case in any of the Brick and Morters I could find. It will do til the Vetex one comes in.
I have my PC drivers installed but unless I am doing something wrong, file transfer from PC to DX is REALLY MESSY and I don't quite have a handle on that yet.
I sure have gotten a lot of good information from the Android Forums, thank you all very much!
