I'm curious... if you've never even opened the app, can this still happen?
I haven't opened the BB app - never plan on doing so - and I don't have any issues with it draining my battery.
Are the people that experience this issue just opening up all the stock apps to see what they're all about?
Are PVMtpServiceStart and PVWmdrmService running on your phone? They're the ones related to DRM and blockbuster. They run constantly and have been reported to use an inordinate amount of battery power. Changing the settings in the BB app doesn't seem to stop these two services.I've never seen it running on my phone when I look at Running Apps, or Running Services. Maybe I got lucky

They just seem to magically reappear. They'll definitely be back after after a reboot. Root is the only solution to removing them though that appears to be less than sucessful as well.Yes, both are running, and have been running since day one. I thought they were system services. Probably just being used for DRM?
What happens if you force close those services?
