Root TranQ messed up phone?

So I tried to flash TranQ 3.7 on my X and I did the usual and then it wouldn't go past the Tranquility logo. Now if I hold power and home get the ! android then press two volume keys it goes to Android Recovery and has 1) Reboot now 2) Apply update.zip from SD 3) Format data 4) Format cache. I tried to flash another ROM via the update option but it says Signature Verification Failed. And I tried to do a .sbf the same way but got the same thing. I am assuming flashing it to my phone via windows is the only way to fix this correct? Any help besides just doing that .sbf? I guess I got to flash happy:( What are the odds my phone is beyond repair?

Ok don't try to flash anything via the update zip unless told to in instructions for install , now go back into stock recovery and (hold power and home) and select wipe data/factory reset and that should do the trick if not you will have to sbf via your computer here is a guide for that

And your x is very repairable ,,,don't freak lol
Also Tranq can be weird sometimes ....the last two times I installed it the same thing happen and I rebooted and it was fine so you may want to try that first, also many others have had the same odd problems in tranq

Well for some reason I can't get my Droid X to be recognized by RSD lite? I downloaded the newest Motorola drivers for USB and I get it in Bootloader 30.04 and it says its OK to Program and its in USB Transfer Mode. I've pulled the batter and stuff and restarted my computer. I am running a Virtual Machine on my Mac but ya its not being recognized.

Ya I actually did that several times before I came here. Sorry I sounded like I was just ignoring you! I went over my parents and used my father's Windows 7 laptop and it worked and I flashed, rerooted and put back on Gingerbread(rooted version). Thank you so much for the help. I see you are running Darkslide 4.2 how do you like that? I ran RubiX Blurry 1.8 and the GB I'm running now.

Lol I didn't think you were ignoring me I just wanted to make sure that step was completed , it's a process of elimination , no worries and I'm glad you got it! I love , love , love darkskide ! I have been running 4.2 since the first week it came out and refuse to even so much as change my wallpaper that's how smooth my set up is , I have not had one single issue or problem in months if you can believe it and would be happy if my x remained this smooth and stable until I get a new device lol
