Isn't that the Droid lockscreen? How did you get it on the Hero?
Also will you please post the original background image?![]()
I have tried the last three updates and it worked fine for me. It can be a little laggy sometimes but works pretty good.I installed Lockbot on my phone and it gave me nothing but problems! I had to uninstall it...

/system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk

Removing the stock HTC lockscreen completely
completely fixed the lag issue for me. It is now just as fast to come up and unlock as the Htc slide unlock. And no more pocket dialing!!Code:/system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk![]()

Rockcrawler,
Could you be more specific about removing the HTC Lock Screen? Are you running this command from CMD? after moving to #symbol?
I tried : Pull /system/app/htclockscreen.apk but it returns
pull: .apk not found.
system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk
Tools and Tweaks > pull / delete any file > pull any file > and then paste "system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk" without quotes > check the box to delete files from phone after pull.
The location is :
notice the capitals in HtcLockScreenCode:system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk
also, download Fresh's pre-kitchen. It has a pull, backup delete ferature. Its really sweet. You can get it HERE. One you DL and unzip open it up and got to:
It will then prompt you for a location to create a backup of the file in case you would like to push it later. Then it will ask you to verify that the file is there locally and prompt you that it will now delete it. its a really sweet utility, everyone should give it a try.Code:Tools and Tweaks > pull / delete any file > pull any file > and then paste "system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk" without quotes > check the box to delete files from phone after pull.
Hope that helps. If anything is unclear, just let me know.

Loved Lockbot on my Moment - curious to try on my Hero. Those who remove the stock Lockscreen apk, does music control work on the lockscreen still?
