Help widgets working from sdcard

hi all... i did the "How to move apps to sd card on an unrooted device: A noobs guide" and now if i turn phone on and off widgets like smooth calender, didgital clock dont work and arnt available for adding to screens. i have to DL them again and repeat GRRRRR

any ides? is it better undo the "how to ..." and just use apps2sd?

also is there a widget sdcard friendly list anywhere??

thx in advance

You can't put any widgets onto the sd. They don't work properly when you turn the phone on as the OS and homescreens load before the SD card. Move them back to phone memory (or uninstall and download again) and that should work fine.

PS: It says this in the OP of my guide! ;)

hi i tried with smooth calemder but when i tried to move it over to phone it says not enough space on internal memory yet i have over 10 meg free??

You need to maintain above 15MB to install or move things back. Below this can even prevent you receiving email, depending on your set up

Uninstall > Reinstall.

But don't you need 15mb free or something anyway to do anything with apps?

Ask in the main thread, that's what it's there for. Somebody smarter than me will always help out in it. ;)

Edit: SU beat me too it :/

this is near impossible lol i just cant seem to retrive the space, i uninstall so much but everything is on the sdcard except eg contacts, maps, etc

will try though thx :)

Try clearing caches using accleaner. You can't install it yet until you manually clear some space though

cheers got all working better now..to be honest it seems when installing apps to sd it still installs on internal as every time i deleted one, more space was available ...

thx again :)

Yes thats true, some of the app is left on internal in order for it to run. Nothing runs completely from SD card.
