Root New GB installation issues

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I am having some issues installing the new GB "OTA" files. I followed all of the instructions exactly, but I have been getting a verification error in the bootloader. I have done many flashes before, so I am not new to the process, although all but one were done on my old Eris. I am rooted, running stock with some of the bloatware removed. Is the removed bloatware causing my issue, or do I have a bad download. The file size was correct, but I do not know how to check the MDF. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to be 100% stock 2.3.340 with no apps removed or renamed.

How do you get there, I have read conflicting information about flashing the Maderstock file?
I am trying a nandroid restore from before I rooted.

If you're on 2.3.340 then you could maderstcok, just do a factory/data reset and wipe cache before applying it or you will bootloop.

Or, you could simply sbf with the 2.3.340 file in RSD Lite.

I flashed my pre-root nandroid recovery, re-rooted and am flashing the files now. It is working perfectly, thanks for the help.
