My battery usage....

Just thought I'd share my battery usage for you all and my settings.

I DO NOT USE A TASK KILLER. They are useless.

The phone is rooted however I am still on a stock ROM for use of ClockWorkMod Nandroid backup, screenshots on phone and custom bootloader.

I'm using Launcher Pro with one home screen and all 3 scrollable docks.

Multi Live Wallpaper to size my wallpaper properly to a single screen.

One power control Widget: Extended Controls https://market.android.com/details?id=com.extendedcontrols&feature=search_result
Toggles used are:
2G-3G / Data / WiFi / BT / GPS / 5 Tier Brightness / Volume / Battery / USB Mass Storage

No flickr/HTC Sense Account the former due to its constant use of the calendar draining battery and the latter constantly using data draining battery.

All other accounts GMail, Facebook, Twitter all syncing every hour but for FB and Twitter usually constantly over 10 hours as I never leave em alone.

Apps constantly running are Whatsapp, 3G Watchdog, Widget Locker, LookOut.

Data is always active for 10 hours minimum and for the other 14 WiFi is usually active.

Here are the screenshots of my battery usage page over 5 days (I included the home screen shot of using the Current Widget as I had a look to see if deleting my battery stats would change anything and it didn't):

A way with no app is use power control widget to control the brightness of the screen and turn off network data / wi-fi... only turn it on when you need it, the difference is amazing!

My phone right now has been up for 32h 11m and my battery is at 91%

Oh I know I could get far more juice out of it than that but I have a smartphone and don't see the point in Android if my data isnt always on, kinda need it that way to use Whatsapp Messenger and LookOut. Not only that but other than these examples I'd usually have it on charge over night :D Just want to give the naysayers some proof that the battery on these things is more than sufficient and if your going to be away from a charging point with a couple of tweaks and being economical with your phone usage you can bridge the gap to the next power point.

Oh and as more proof that managing what apps you download and ensuring they aren't failing to drop into the background save state using CPU that TASK KILLERS ARE NOT NEEDED!!!

After looking at some of the stats on my handset, I think uptime relates to time since last boot, not time since last charge.

9% in 32 hours would only be possible if the screen was off constantly, no WiFi & 3G and the phone wasn't used at all.
