My cat is called Vinnie so not the same cat and I can only assume Eris isn't my wife hehe ;)

And my phone sleeps next to me, on my bedside table, within reach... unlike the Mrs with the cat in the way :D
 
FYI, my missus is still running a Samsung Tocco, and the cat will often push her phone off the bedside table to wake her up. There's a good reason why I sleep with my phone, I don't give the critter any unnecessary opportunity

LOL in the morning my cat tends to sit on my bedside table and looms over me to try and wake me up.
Every morning he's greeted with the same words "Get the f**k off my phone, flea-bag!"
He knows that going near my phone is going to make me wake up.

I think he's jealous of the fact my phone gets more loving than he does :D
 
Methods of waking me up used by my cat:

(1) stomping across the pillows

(2) trying to open the wardrobe door with claws

(3) repeatedly scratching down the metal radiator

(4) reaching under the bed and ripping the fabric off (very noisy!)

(5) pushing Samsung phone off the table

(6) standing on my chest and giving me eyeball from 1 inch away, while purring

(7) biting my feet

(8) being sick

(9) pretending to be sick

Oh God the sick one!
My cat usually waits till I'm dozing off just after going to bed :(
That one gets him my foot up his backside from under the duvet (never do it without a thick tog duvet) ;)

Generally though he just walks across me, slowly and heavily... pausing on my chest to see if my ribs will break before I wake up.
Then he goes and sits on my phone and looms over me just for good measure.
 
ah you two are just echoing everything I've had for 24 years when having cats...thank god I dont have one at the MOMENT...though when my other half moves in....guess what...2 cats in tow......brilliant...again >.<
 
Got to admit we never have any mice, birds or spiders alive in the house :)

Just one's that are dissembled all over various carpets :(
 
Oh we have spiders, great big ones that the cats enjoy watching running all over the carpet! They're house cats....the main thing they chase is each other or foil balls flicked by me
 
I usually try and dream about another type of crack, *nudge nudge*, but that's for a different forum LOL

Of course if your desire is in your pocket when you get hit by a train, chances are the screen will probably crack. You should think about that.

lol yeah didnt consider that - however i think the whole phone will probably be mashed :P
