DIY on the cheap Car Dock for All

I used that article a while back and it works great with my dinc =) Only I used a chick's hair tie instead of the rubber band. doesn't snap as easy =)

Just got around to actually making this, only to find out I can't put it anywhere :(
My air vent just tilts down due to the wait. I guess I'll need to just make something to top the air vent from moving now...

I put mine at the very bottom of the vent, so it has no room to drop down.

Tried that, there's still room for it to drop :/

The only place it would stay, without modifying anything in the car, was on my run visor, which could possibly work. I wouldn't have to look too far up to glance at it for navigation or anything. Might try it out next time I go out.

Well, this is embarrassing. Apparently I DIDN'T try it on the bottom of the air vent. Works perfect there! Thanks for the link! Now time to find something to add to the click to add a little traction to it, my phone/ipod keep sliding.

Old bicycle tire intertube would work great for that. cut it and turn it inside out.

That's a great idea. I just used some extra rubber bands myself. Wrapped them around the wire, and tied them off. But they won't last very long, methinks.

Hair Ties FTW! http://imgur.com/a/iSI17#BeV1d
