well then flash the recovery again. i dont know where besides rom manager to get the newest one but the old one is in a few posts around here if you search

A few people tested this, which leads me to believe that I forgot to put a check in to see if your odexed.

How do I access the apps I had on my SD card?

I thought since they were on my SD card, they should still be here, but I don't have any of my apps anymore...

I also backed them up in Titanium, so I'll just do that if I need to.
I just don't understand... hahaha

i've never been odexed, and i'm havin ussues with the theming. i posted them.... somewhere.

No disrespect to GRZLA and his hard work, as I really enjoyed everything he had done in the previous version of Velocity, but I have to agree that this screen isn't very attractive to look at.

i actually like it, especially compared to the old gray one.
 
I don't understand the force close problems people are having with PseudoSense. Tested on a fresh copy of velocity 1.1 before release, and all was well. Did you guys do anything different than me?
 
I had the force close problem also. While the theme was being applied, several apps couldn't be found, then it closed on its own. I re flashed and tried another theme and everything went perfectly.
 
Is there any way we could get a sneak peek at some of the themes before tryin' them? No big deal, just wonderin'.:rolleyes:
 
Awesome work velocity team! Its incredible what u guys r able to do with this. I have 115MB free, as opposed to anywhere from 40-45MB on Velocity1.0! Will b donating soon. Is it possible to donate to all of u guys in one link as opposed to doing so seperately? On a side not does anyone know how to get the notification lights(green,red,blue) to turn off after the flashlight application is turned on? Mine just keeps cycling thru the colors even after the flashlight is turned off. Thanks for the help
 
Just a quick question. What is the difference between deodexed and such. What are the advantages. I only can seem to find disadvantages of it

odexed=extra space
deodexed=themes

dont know anything else besides that. theres debate about performance differences
 
Restoring all my apps right now with TiBu Pro. If I odexed before will I have the option to theme before doing so again? Am I gonna have to go back and re-odex again as well as Dalvik/cache?

Hope this works .......and again, terrific job fellas!!!!

You will have to odex again. And you can theme it before you do. But with all the space you gain from dalvik2cache i wouldnt think odexing would have much to offer since you cant change your theme again. But thats coming from me who is constatly changing mine.
 
When the terminal emulator was first introduced within the velocity ROM (.04 I think?) there was an option to choose from about 5 diff colors for the notification icons (battery, wifi, 3g etc.) Is that no longer an option? I cant seem to find it in the script functions. Thank you!

We need those themes converted to the new format, its not really a hard task just tedious and we all have been busy. Im sure we will get to it eventually
 
Team Velocity is amazing. I thought my Ally was on its last legs and soon as I installed V1.1 it feels like it is a brand new phone again. Huge thanks to all the developers.
