Help Scratched lens on my HTC Desire!

i have this too. I think alot of people do its very annoying
 
This may be obvious, but are you talking about the actual lens, or the lens cover on the back of the phone? If it's just the cover, you can buy a new one or pop it out :)

Otherwise try polishing it out?

Exactly. Can't see how you'd scratch the lens

WAIT!

Before you do that, the scratched bit of protector on the back cover can easily be popped out. The lens is still recessed so can't be scratched. Will save you a fortune... no need to buy a new cover really. See here....
