Help Newb Questions for th DX

Hello All,

Today begins my first day with the Droid X, and so far I am very happy!

I have, however, ran into three particular things that I have questions about (pardon my ignorance if these are extremely basic.)

1.) Is there an easy way to allow the screen to dim without triggering the slide lock screen?

2.) From an email, once you click to initiate a download of a file, how can you stop it?

3.) When you do download a file from an email just to view it, where does it save to (or does it?)

Welcome, I'll move this to help for you.

1) If you download widget locker (application) you can get around the lock screen. Also, in settings/display/brightness you can adjust screen brightness.
2) I think there's a "cancel" button. Maybe not. If not, just delete it once you've downloaded it. No harm.
3) My downloaded files save themselves into the "messaging" folder on the SD card.
