Netflix not available for Epic 4G yet

got a couple of guys in the irc room working on it :D dunno how much can/will be done but as it stands now they have figured out its failing to load some of the runtime libraries

It's available for my Evo but I'm not downloading it. I can't imagine watch movies on such a small screen. I only use netflix on my Blue-ray player with my 55" LED LCD TV. :D

The app is running on the Droid 1's that are running Gingerbread ROMs. So, maybe it is a matter of installing ACS's GB ROM just to try.

Here is the direct download link for the APK on XDA Forums, in Post 16.

There are also some instructions to spoof a HTC G2 in post #44.

Sort of hard to take that 55" TV with you in the car...

I don't think that is the most convenient option while sitting for hours at an airport.

Ironically I have a cross country trip this weekend, but I won't be using Netflix still on my Evo. Because I want to preserve battery life to make phone calls. I'll have my iPad 2 and my laptop with me, so battery life is much better on those devices. :D

My eyes are getting older and it's tougher to focus on such a small screen. Glad your young eyes can look at such a small screen for hours at a time. I love the relative huge screen on the Evo, but watching videos for hours on it is not something I'd look forward to. :p

Anyway, enjoy your Netflix!
