Yes but BlueScreen has a track record of posting random things that never come to pass.
Guess we can't keep calling Apple dumb for trying to expand. Does anyone think Android will start to set standards for phone makers who want to use Android? I say take Apple on head to head. I'm an Android fan and I could never switch to an iPhone unless I lived in an area without Verizon or Sprint coverage.
We now have a confirmed date for European release.

A blurb on some random website is hardly confirmation. Not saying they are lying but usually when a phone is confirmed there are more well known sources

I get that alot. I love Del Taco, though its not where the name comes from. Unfortunately we don't have them in KC, though every time I go to STL, I eat there for almost every meal lol.

That's where I have trouble finding similarities with the Evo 4g and Evo 3D.
The Evo 4g's release date was announced May 12th at an event at NYC hosted by Sprint (and Disney?)

So, we have 2 dates: 5/12 (Best Buy) and 5/5 (Radio Shack)
If the pre-order for the Evo 3D were to follow the pre-order of the 4G ( Yes, I know the date isn't announced for the 3D yet) then that would be about 3 weeks and 2 days till release.
So take 3 weeks 2 days from the BB pre-orders of the 3D (which were 5/2). We get 5/25. Pretty early, pretty unlikely, but I'm sure we would take it.
If we use Radio Shack's pre-order of the 3D that has no date (on 5/16), with the Radio Shack email of the Evo 4G that only had coming soon (5/5), we have just under a month. (5/5- 6/4)
So the same time frame would get us a 6/15 release for the 3D.
5/25 or 6/15 oddly enough are both Wednesdays.

Ok, back on topic. I strongly believe that sprint is just f'n with us, seriously. This phone will be released the first half of june, I am certain of it.

I also came across this - sorry, there's no time-stamp on it - and I don't think you need a really strong grasp of French to decode the last sentence:

If you were responding to me I know thats not sprints release date its for europe. I was just saying that sprint is going to release it in june. I mean seriously, the evo brand started with sprint so it would be a damn shame to reward anyone else with an evo anything before we can get our own hands on it first.

HTC often releases the good stuff in Europe first. Given that that Sprint VP said that the phone was part of a collaboration with HTC rather than a typical spec/RFQ process, I'm not sure I'm buying it, unless Sprint reneged on the release date to HTC - or the VP was exaggerating. I'd expect the former - or - it's coming to Sprint first.
Agree with previous posts to the max - if it's coming anytime soon, let's see that FCC thing!

June 3rd makes sense to me because verizon is coming out with a slew of phones over the next week or so, and t-mobile is launching the sensation june 8th, so it would make sense for sprint to get the jump on tmo first, think bout this... The evo came out june 4th last year, beating everyone to the punch. June 3rd is a friday, it makes sense, plus radio shack now doing pre orders, can't be far off from release. It would behoove sprint to come out of the gates first to get one step ahead of everyone, then build on that hype for the rest of the summer. However... There is a high end samsung device coming out in June according to the rep I talked to a few weeks back. I am guessing it will be the Galaxy S2. Whoever said June 3rd initially is right on the money. I would venture to guess Sprint will announce the date over the next few days... Lets see how it pans out...

Vodafone getting first overseas, or worldwide?
I dunno. First, we heard HTC France officially announced they were getting the 3vo, that was post-Sprint - now we have another carrier in the mix (and I'm not sure of Vodafone's scope of operations, but I know they're in several countries).
