Root Need help with GB 588 and 595.

Hey I'm a noob and I am running 340. I have downloaded all three parts to 588 but when I go to install them through bootstrap it said it is unable to install and the word bad in these things ( ), I have tried d2 bootstrap and dx. I have a dx. Please help!!!
 
What's up fool did you get gb installed. If you are stock 340 you should be able to just update with those instructions txt me if you need more help
 
is the 3 step really necessary? I have messed around n reflashed several ROMs, but have yet to do the 3 step on leak .588 and each time upgrade fine to .0595.

dxgbrooted (.573), rooted & deodexed .588, rooted & deoexed .591, and rooted & deodexed .595. And I have stopped flashing .591 and just go from .588 to .595. and everything works fine. I am missing something I need here?
 
your last post was a little confusing but I will say that you do need to include the .588 build in your process to .595. Hope that helps.
 
Same thing happened to me, I realized I had run out of memory and only downloaded part of the files. Check it out-- even if you have the full files downloaded, could just be a bad download like someone else mentioned.

just an update everyone!

I just used my computer to download the 3 pts of gb .588 and then just put them on my dx's sd card. Then i flashed and it worked just fine!

The three step is the only way to flash .588 and keep root. If you install .588 a different way you have to boot it up and root it with gingerbreak, just adding an extra step to your upgrade.

The best way right now is to go from .340->.588 via 3 step->.595, because you can just do the upgrade all at once without leaving recovery. Going any other way skips the baseband update that we got in .588

I did it as I posted and never lost root. Whats the new baseband and I'll tell if I have it or not, I know I watched a whole movie on the netflix app last night and it never missed a beat.

Baseband Version BP_C_01.09.12P is the one that came with .588

At least thats the one I have on my phone right now.
