Root Stock GB .596 Home Screen Tweaking

So I'm actually kind of liking the stock Home Screen and launcher on .596 GB. However, the one thing I'd really like to be able to change is the number of home screens. Is there any way to reduce it from 7?

nah...the only home screen tweaking that is allowed is to change out the three icons to the left of the app drawer...

i could send you my dock background that works with other launchers to at least make your dock LOOK like the stock Blur dock...you will get the same look...with the customization you're looking for

The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't support rotation. Other than that it's pretty good. I like the 3d environment. It makes me feel special......:D
 
because he was talkin about the stock launcher... i wasnt the original poster... so im confused at what you mean


i know about adw and drawer backgrounds. i just dont use them, he on the other hand is using stock launcher and wanted to know if he could limit his homescreens with the stock launcher.. which you cant

yeah...and i told him that he could at least have the look of the stock launcher with a custom launcher....

yea, just was wondering if it was possible. you never know what you might have to do to get out of a problem you might get into. Thanks

yeah for sure thank goodness that's the case. But are you guys talking about eclair (2.1) or froyo (2.2) I remember when we all upgraded to froyo we couldn't SBF back to eclair because the bootloader went from 30.01 to 30.04 or something like that.

whoops!...sorry i didnt see in your post that you had put 2.1....yes that has a different bootloader and you can't go back to it...
 
You can SBF back to 2.1. They have an SBF file for it but why would you want to give yourself one more step? SBF to 2.2 is the norm.
 
Hmm....you got a point there. Forgot about the different bootloader. O'k, completely forget what I said.....lol
 
Wow... from a guy asking about homescreen to a talk about bootloaders and SBF's... round robin thread...
