Root Need some help flashing back to stock! (2.2.1)

Ok, long story short, I flashed my phone to CM7 and want to flash back to stock but the Nand backup I made of my stock phone will not restore it always comes up with "Error : run 'nandroid-mobile.sh restore' via adb!". All I want is for someone to point me in the right direction of a stock Rom for my phone (2.2.1 came on it stock) I tried using the search function but it kept saying that the database is busy.

If cm7 isnt for you maybe the sense rom is? or another themed type rom?
If you want stock looking you can use the teamchickeneater rom or even the gingerbread looking, again a themed rom.
If you want to go back to pure stock bloat and all you can use

Personally My preference is a simple almost vanilla version I use teamchickeneater

I would like to try and restore to get my contacts back, I still had them when I flashed to CM7 but when I tried to restore with the nand backup and that failed I re-flashed with CM7 again and subsequently lost all of my contacts. I also tried using ADB to flash to my original back-up (followed all the directins and it completed the backup process) and it is still on CM7. If there is no way to restore it back then I will have to use one of the other roms but I would like to try and see if there is any way to get my contacts back before I do that

sign in to gmail to get your contacts back.

Contacts are stored server-side by Google as long as you're signed into your phone. If you want to make sure they're intact, go to https://contacts.google.com/.

Yeah, I had a friend remind me of that lol. I installed the tamchickeneater rom and synced my contacts from gmail. Thanks to all that looked and helped!!!
