Root RUU failure

Cuttin' a very long story short, involving some grass cuttings, lasagne, a badly ironed T-shirt and a dusty lampshade, I ended up in a bootloop and needed to RUU. The system update failed, twice! Now I still have root, Oxygen r2 table and I have flashed a new recovery, and no "why so serious logo" at boot. I gathering some electricity before restoring to who knows what state.

Edit: Do these new Alpharev revision tables give you permanent root? Because a tried and tested RUU wont work anymore "bypassing" boot!

I just been readin at the alpharev site. I may not need to now as I'm out of the bootloop and am still s-off and rooted.

I now have an Error: cache:recovery/log (no room on device).

EDIT: and USB bricked!!!! Fastboot commander no longer picks it up!

EDIT: Sorted. I wish I knew wahat I was doin :::

I can confirm the downgrader works, although you can probaly PB99 an old hboot over the new revisions and have it work too.

no you cant, the new hboots are will not be overwritten unless you use the downgrader
