Help Battery Charge No Charger

Dont know if anyone has posted before. Just recently after i unplug the charger the phone continues to say that the phone is charging, not talking seconds but hours afterwards (keeps cutting in and out). Dont know if the battery about to go, also my phone got so hot had to take it out my pocket. Thought i had something running in background but nothing. Has anyone had this problem.

sorry but have not seen, heard, or experienced that. you may want to try a soft reset (power off, wait 10 sec, the power on). and see if that works. or maybe a factory reset may work as well (but you will loose all your settings and data). if all else fails you can take it in to sprint and have them look at it.

Wow ok now when i plug the usb in to connect to pc it just charges doesnt even ask if i want to use sync, disk drive, or usb tethering. So i think it just the sync on my pc not up to date. I try dl the sync update from htc website but everytime it starts to install HTC Driver Installer 3.0.0.005, it fails. What is going on, any help please. I really dont want to take up to sprint. I just got into changing my icons, lockscreen, all that good stuff was going to post some pics but nooooo.
