I got one, that might be good for the sticky if it is a common issue. My sample 3D photos don't show in 3D, they are just 2D double exposures. When I hit the 3D/2D button on the screen it will flip to the regular 2D picture, but when I try to set it back to 3D it will just do the same flat double exposure. Resetting the phone seems to fix this issue.
 
Ok, now this is going to sound really stupid, and i really do feel ashamed, but how do you go back and view 3d videos you made on your 3vo? I know they are saved in SD card as Video001, Video002, etc. But only the last video shows up at the bottom left corner. How do you go back and view "Video001"? I'm usually not this much of a n00b, but I can't find it anywhere :o

LOL!!!!!!!! /FACEPALM big time!!! never mind... DOH! Just needed to swipe to the previous ones..

I'd also like to know if there is a way to do this... I used to use LP+ and had the grid set to have the icons closer together and missed that option when I went to mikg and started using sense, and now on the e3d the problem is even worse because of the larger screen size...

I'll keep looking.

FriendStream is simply an app/widget. It'll work with any launcher. But it doesn't seem like there is a way to change the grid without a soft root, unfortunately.
 
Hey guys,

just got my new 3D and noticed the phone is not going to sleep after its set time of 1 min. Checked my never sleep setting and it is not checked or enabled to never sleep. I noticed is also never sleeps while charging. I have to press the top button to make it sleep...any ideas?

Edit - Sleep seems to be working now just fine. I got my first full charge of battery last night. Woke this morning to a fully charged battery and sleep works perfectly. Not sure if this had something to do with it but it works.
 
could be some apps you have installed preventing it from sleeping.

have you installed all for the OTA updates that have been released i the last few days for this handset?

I tried ADW launcher though, and cannot find Friendstream or any of the other HTC widgets under my widget list. I think they're only meant to be used in Sense? Can someone please confirm?

And btw can I change the gallery icon to display the last picture taken, instead of always displaying the first?
 
My weather live wallpaper doesn't stay live. Anybody else have this issue? When I first select its fine and then after a while the clouds stop moving and its a still picture

Confirmed. I was skeptical too when I first read that Friendstream would work on any launcher. HTC has proprietary widgets that only work with Sense. Those won't work on 3rd party Launchers, which only support Android widgets.
 
That's unfortunate about FriendStream, then. It must reference something in the Sense framework, which wouldn't be there with another launcher. Sorry for misleading you.

2.02) The Sync icon won't go away!

This appears to be a common problem with the Watch accounts. To fix it, push Menu (button) Settings > System Updates > HTC Software Updates and then push Check Now. You should get two updates.

Thanks, tried that and didn't work. I did have like 3 updates yesterday that were installed
 
Go into sync and hit cancel sync. If the sync cancels, try doing a manual sync. Give it a minute or so. Let me know what happens, please.
 
Hey guys, my spinning carousel gets stuck when I unlock the screen. The weather animation plays, but the carousel gets stuck in the animation and after a few seconds the home screen just appears.

I've tried restarting w/ battery, and everything else I can think of, still no fix :\

Try playing with the animation settings. Menu (button) > Settings > Display > Animations

If not, I'd try a force stop/clear data on "HTC Sense" with the clock (or both of them) in Manage Applications > All or a factory reset. If that doesn't work, I'd take it back. If we could reflash our devices (*shakes fist at S-ON*), I would recommend that.
 
I have the need to get another standard charging cable (usb type). I'm not sure what I should be searching for on ebay. ALso I remember the TV Out (Phone to HDMI) was called MHL or something to the sorts. Not that I will be using the TV out that much but would like the option so if anyone has info on either of these cables it would be much appreciated.

I had assumed he meant that he couldn't get FriendStream to work on a non-Sense launcher. (Almost a pun, there. Almost)

Any USB (sometimes called USB A) to microUSB cable will work. They are probably just listed as "microUSB cables".
 
I am a newb and I work in a pretty loud enviorment. I could usually hear my old phone okay but not this Evo 3D. I have the volume pegged but I can never hear it when a call, email or text message comes in. Is there any way to make it louder? Step by step would be appreciated.
Also I noticed that the phone can tell if it is in a pocket, how does it do this?
