Is Tomorrow the Day for Android 2.??

One day after installing the last update, I had to do a hard reset ! So really in no hurry for 2.0, 2.1, 2.3 etc.
 
Everybody, the 2.1 update is NOT today for sure. I asked motorola on their twitter. Check twitter.com and search motorola. I am the last update. I know that it is depressing, but they assured that it will be soon.
 
I usually get the updates a day or 2 after the OTA release date. I'd chalk it up to me living out in the desert...but my uncle in L.A. also usually gets 'em a day or so after as well.

Someone really needs to make a "Patience App" that just tells you to "chill out and be patient!":D
 
I think that Verizon\HTC were actually early in sending this update and are on top of their shit. Unlike what many people have said about them having to few people to work on this, this is the biggest thing they have going they can't afford to screw this up or have alot of issues with Exchange. Baised on BB #'s the majority of their customers use Exchange and that is a big market share. I could go on and on connecting the dots but I think you get my point.

not just any rick rolled... a pop-up that couldn't be x-ed out of and was constantly moving/ had other mini pop ups with lyrics. so imagine my frusration while being at school and not being able to stop that shit from playing.

back on topic, although i agree with people saying that 2.1 is NOT today but I am not sure why people are using Motorola posts as references? Moto Droid and HTC Droid Eris are wildly different and I don't understand why people are saying, " Well Motorola didn't update the Droid so the Eris update isn't happening either". Just my two cents:cool:
 
Sorry I'm late on this, but I figured better late than pregnant. But someone got Rick Rolled? Damnit! That was going to be my next devious plan. Oh, I'll think of something next.

The guy's post had me r00fling though. He was in class and was worried about 2.1? Oh boy. There's gonna be a thread on what waiting for 2.1 has done. Broken marriages, lost jobs, an F+ in Woods class. It's taking a toll on all of us.

When I worked for Apple at a call center a lot of the time customers knew more about products than we did, but I quickly learned to follow the forums and put MacRumors on an RSS feed. At times we got information on BRAND NEW product just an hour before it was released. Don't blame the phone agents for management policies.

I had a guy freak out on me, at the Verizon store this evening, when I told him it wasn't going to happen today. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about and ran (seriously ran) out of the store. The sales rep and I were just staring at each other after that.

Next time, tell him "Oh yes, we do that manually. Give me your phone and I'll take care of it for you." and then wipe his whole phone clean.
