It should be a few MB, assuming it's those minor bug fixes. IF you have really crappy internet, it might take a while, but even dialup would do 20mb in an hour. You must have really bad reception. What are your signal bars looking like?

HTC Droid Eris OTA Update Coming Too | Android Phone Fans

read the documents that were written months ago. Their tech team has to be small, and have a lot on their plate. I would assume that this will be another of the normal updates we've already had, and that next month will be 2.1. I don't undestand the 1/28 date, but that has been mentioned as well.
 
That's it..I've had it with this behavior by HTC. I'm starting a class action lawsuit against them which I'm sure you'll all see is air tight. HTC promised us 2.? in quarter 1 of 2010, but internet rumors suggested it would arrive today. This clearly makes HTC liable for people who lost sleep last night and couldn't make it to work this morning, not to mention the mental stress imposed during the waiting process. No judge in the world would rule in their favor given those facts. Once an internet rumor has more than 5 posts on ANY given forum it makes HTC legally responsible to fulfill this rumor. It's all rather simple.

So who's on board?

But nobody with a life or even the tiniest iota of self-esteem would have had that problem.

Class action suits need large groups of victims.

I'm with you, but hey, why stop at the update? Let's get 'em for the faulty Youtube app and laggy keyboard while we're at it... -_- (lol)
