Yeah, we don't like your kind around here. What with your....slide out keyboard and HD output.

The sole reason I bought this phone is that it did not have a sliding keyboard and it was getting the 2.1 update. Rest assured if there is no update by the end of March, I will be getting a Nexus One. I hear Verizon will be selling the Nexus One on March 23rd.
you gotta give us a link.what no linkyou gotta give us a link.
....sooo....according to all of you wise men (and ladies), when is the OTA update release date? *grins
1/22 according to the internal Verizon document.

...ok....where's your "peer reviewed" internet link?![]()
That's it..I've had it with this behavior by HTC. I'm starting a class action lawsuit against them which I'm sure you'll all see is air tight. HTC promised us 2.? in quarter 1 of 2010, but internet rumors suggested it would arrive today. This clearly makes HTC liable for people who lost sleep last night and couldn't make it to work this morning, not to mention the mental stress imposed during the waiting process. No judge in the world would rule in their favor given those facts. Once an internet rumor has more than 5 posts on ANY given forum it makes HTC legally responsible to fulfill this rumor. It's all rather simple.
So who's on board?
To save your self a headache you can always force an update check with *#*#checkin#*#* or check Personal Communications Devices for the manual download.
