How do I flash this rom to my phone or any other rom for that matter?

I'm on 596 deodexed, never installed a rom over something else before.

you need droid 2 bootstrapper you hit bootstrap recovery,
then reboot recovery
and wipe data and cache
and then you install the rom

Had a weird issue, wallpaper wouldn't change so o rebooted. Once rebooted all my widgets were crazy and had to r add them.

everything is ok now and it is 100 times faster. So far so good

I'm interested in this as well. I just learned how to SBF my X. I went from the official Gingerbread back to stock Froyo, rooted and then installed the Team Black Hat rooted .596 version of Gingerbread. I feel really comfortable so far.

Two questions.

1. How do I go from .596 rooted GB to .596 deodexed? (Link)
2. Can you give me a link to the GB ROM for Darkslider?

if you installed TBH app then you are already deodexed
the link for the GB rom is on this page, my internet is saying af is down but im surprisingly on this post wondering if it will post so in all honesty look on this first page and you w ill see it, just look for darkslide

I could have sworn that going to stock Froyo 2.3.340, and then installing the 2 part pre-rooted GB TBH update will take you to an odexed state, not deodexed.

Yes it does take you to an odexed state, I just checked the two part update.

You either have to apply the deodexer zip I made or apply the deodexed pre-rooted update by TBH over what you have now (you can find this in the sticky thread).

was he using the 2 part file? or is the file thats in the TBH app the 1 part deodexed file?

2-part. He can apply the 1 part deodexed zip file from TBH or the the deodexer I made.
