Help need help flashing velocity 1.1 on ally

i need simple and basic instructions on how to flast velocity on lg ally. i tried once before and bricked my fone. obviously me not know what to do. well my phone is rooted using gingerbreak. thats as far as i have gotten. and really dont want to do anything else until i know exactly what to do and know that it works. please help me!!

First off this would be better posted in the all things root sub forum. I would consider using the 2.2 root guide here to downgrade and get fastboot. Why get fastboot? You can read that here. For a step by step on flashing velocity, i bet if you searched the all things root forum the answer would be there.

**saw your other post, no need to double post either. And believe me, if you search the all things root forum, your answer is there.

Flashing velocity should be no problem. Make sure you factory reset at least 3 times and clear cache the same amount. If it still bricks, your copy of velocity must be bad. Redownload and try again

What do you gain from doing everything 3 times? This is a new one on me.

Sometimes everything doesn't wipe as it's supposed to. Take my D1, for example. Stock recovery does its job perfectly every time, but custom does not on occasion. It's not necessary, but sometimes helps.

You'll have to downgrade back to froyo 2.2.1 first.

Go to the all things root section for those instructions. Once you.get 2.2.1 its easy. Boot into recovery, flash velocity from sd card, and everything should work fine.
