How often do you turn off your Droid

Just curious how often people turn it off and turn it back on.. reset it.. I found out that doing it once maybe twice a day gets rid of alot of FC's and keeps it running nice and fast ... even after I make it multi task like champ..

As soon as I feel the phone getting slow. I rarely ever get a FC, so as soon as I get one I will also do a power cycle.

i turn mine off once every few weeks. It usually ends up completely freezing, and i have no choice but to take the battery out to reset it. Annoying.

lately I have been haveing to do it atleast 1 or twice every 2 days, the latest round of updates from handcent, dolphine, and a couple other essential programs have caused this but after a battery pull all is well again till the next update that is.

I turn it off and remove the battery whenever it starts acting glitchy... it varies, sometimes I might do it a few days in a row, sometimes I might go a week or two without any problems.

This. It's not a very strict schedule.

You guys must not being doing anything cool to your phone then. *yawn*

If you ain't pulling the battery once-in-awhile, you ain't trying to break it! :D :D :D (End users!) :p

some of us end users rely on the droid to keep us up to date on our work. Droid does tell me about my servers, and if I let a server stay down I stop gettin the pay check.

So, it would be stupid of me to screw with my phone too much.

So call me an end user if you like, I have to err on the side of relibility here.

I've turned it off once since owning it...just to see what would happen lol. I will do it right now and see if it's any snappier :)

I run home++ and I believe that effects my phone's "glitchiness" if you will. I have to reset/battery pull every few days. I may go a week without a reset, then have to battery pull a couple days in a row. The replacement home screen is WELL worth it though.

I'm rooted and running petes v.8 rom and I've been FC a lot, especially related to the browser.. but I haven't pulled the battery, I have had it crash but it self restarted and I didn't pull the battery.

Same here. I was listening to the music player yesterday and the music just stopped. The phone had rebooted. Today I wake up to a dead battery. Home++ like to FC every once and a while too.

Is turning the phone off then on the same as pulling the battery? If not, is there an app for simulating a battery pull? I'd rather not wear out the battery contacts and door...
