Ummmm...been browsing the forum for a month...lurking. Now I wondered...did anybody see anything funny in the HTC Supersonic story from Engadget? Sounds like somebody is pulling somebody's leg....and it probably came from somebody we know. I am disappointed none of you saw that....

What the kickstand? hahahaha that seems reminiscent of this topic... and yes that would justify all of newsradio's claims, just giving the phone a different alias. and sprint :(

Yea...that link was posted for over three hours....and nobody noticed that. I am utterly surprised...I guess you guys are all just wicked hung up on all the number specs.....not the fact that your phone is not a motorcycle.

What was this thread about? Oh yeah, it was about some guy being confident that the Bravo is coming to Verizon. Well, it probably WILL come out to Verizon, but much much later than what you guys think it is. For one, GSM versions of phones are almost always released first because the world market is on GSM, not CDMA. So, an initial release of a CDMA phone would hamper sales internationally. Since, nothing has been announced like it was for the Motorola Droid, you can assume that the first carriers to be getting the Bravo will be GSM carriers. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Let the flame wars begin. Guess it's too late in the night for others to chime in. so here i am.
-you're FOS #1
-Everyone knows android is not well received in europe, why release GSM first? yeah, verizon doesn't have that many subscribers anyways. and international sales are expected to be low. source? look it up, i'm too lazy and if you follow android, you should know this.
-it's been said before, verizon may not want to hurt droid sales by announcing new androids.
-how much info was leaked about the droid on verizon? and how much before release?
-"much much later"? -I think most of us are hoping for a release soon, but also think the March 23rd date is ok. (or at least acceptable). so, you think later than that?
-not sure why you are always negative. you are here waiting for it too, correct? or are you a troll? If you can't say anything positive or add valuable info to the discussion, then don't contribute.

i may be alone on this, but comments like yours annoy me. We all speculate, i just did, but try to make some sense next time. thanks

I noticed it, I'm pretty sure it's not a joke, I think they are talking about the little pull out tab in the back of the phone that is supposed to hold it up for watching movies on your phone. there are a few phones out there already with it. personally I could do without it, I think they look cheap and it's just another thing that can break on the phone.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble but it's just wishful thinking on your part. No real evidence whatsoever that HTC Bravo is going to land at Verizon first. So, actually it is you who is full of sheet, not me. And another thing. March 23rd? Please. Don't make me laugh. Is this more wishful thinking or another unsubstantiated rumor from a blog or internet forum about this one? And anyway, there HAVE been reports that the Bravo is being released in April. What differerence is a week earlier? Please fool! If you want to cry, go cry. But making up stuff is not going to help you get this most awesome device on your carrier. Might as well write a letter to Verizon or something.

If you're going to change your username, Sooperdroid, you should at least change your posting habits and misguided opinions to throw people off. Fail.

Great minds think alike. I actually don't know who this Sooperdroid guy is, but if he is anything like me then he's A-OK in my book. You on the other hand are a troll. Yep. I said it. What are you gonna do about it? That's what I thought.

Welcome to bitchfest 2010

Sorry, i misspoke earlier. i remembered march 23rd as the expected nexus one release date.
oh, and this partially applies to us:
Nexus One by Google Powered by Android 2.1 | LetsTalk.com

look at the specs. it is a verizon AND at&t device.
could the bravo come out as both also?

Its my understanding that the QSD8650 Snapdragon which is for CDMA also supports GSM. so if a snapdragon phone comes to Verizon or Sprint it could be a world phone if they want it to be.
