OG, as it pertains to an older device means "original generation." It can also mean "older generation" if there are more than one successors.

You'll most commonly see OG associated with the Evo and Droid because of the reuse of the brand name. Same with iPhones and now iPad.

There was a rediculously long thread in the Evo 3D section about "OG." Yeah, we had nothing to do when waiting for that phone to be released :) If you're bored, feel free to read pages of OG fun.

I don't think there's any question that it will pertain to the 3d and sensation.

Hopefully we will find out if their work has any bearing on other devices. The postings on xda indicated it was a Linux kernel exploit that would work on all bootloaders. Just depends on whether that means all 3vo/sensation bootloaders or all HTC bootloaders. I'm not a dev so I have no idea how similar or different they are from device to device.

Thanks for the encouragement bubba lol sure did need it ;) I rooted and flashd cm7 on my buddys ascend and I'm jealous as hell ;/
 
Man waiting for root is starting to seem like it will never happen. An earlier poster comment that once your routed it its really stinky to not be able.... +1babe on that! At this point I think I could have done with our my camera. Lol... I am starting to think the gurus are not at 100% getting this rom rooted.. Lot of new phones out there must have there attention :(...........rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
