Droid vs Corner of a table

Well as you can see in the picture the droid lost big time...

Hrm, that screen is tough, but not tougher than wood. What sort of wood? Maple? Think it could have won if it was cherry? Or pine?
 
bullshit, this fight was rigged, why just the other day I came home and found my droid beating up my marble floors.
 
I was there when it happened. Didn't know it was you. Fortunately I had my Droid with me and I snapped a quick pic. Those tights offered no protection, but on the other hand, your Droid killed the poor table.:o

I always make sure screen is facing in in my pockets. It's a bodily function now.

You must have really plowed into that table corner... Imagine the bruise had the Droid not been there to protect you. Ouch!
 
In college, I once found a mysterious bruise on my thigh right at pocket-height. I had no idea where it came from. About a week after finding the bruise, I got up in the middle of the night for some reason, walked across the living room and smacked into the chair someone hadn't pushed back under the computer desk earlier in the day. Again.

At the time, I did not own a cell phone, so I can tell you from that experience that walking into that table unarmoured would have left you with one helluva bruise...

droid DOES protect you from bruises...
too bad iphone will too. actually an iphone might do it better cause of the curve back
